There was a major timeline error during Love Is Blind UK and people are seriously confused

It turns out there was a big ol’ error in the Love Is Blind UK season one timeline, and it’s left people really confused as to what’s going on. If you cast your mind back, Sam was called out for making a comment about Nicole, and people have instantly flagged that how he said this happened doesn’t quite add up.

Let’s go back to just before the Love Is Blind UK weddings. The cast have all just been dating in the pods, and we know who has got engaged to who. But, as someone on TikTok pointed out, the Love Is Blind UK timeline got a little fishy between the pods and the retreat to Greece, when things came out at the mixer event. People are now speculating if it could be a potential error.

A TikToker pointed out “we’re lead to believe” the couples head to Greece straight after the pods, and it’s the “first thing” they do after getting engaged. However, during the mixer drinks, Sam returned and threw this timeline out.

The TikTok pointed out: “When Sam was confronting Nicole at the party where everyone meets each other, he started talking about how ‘oh I didn’t want to sleep with her when she stayed at my place’. When would she have stayed at his place? Allegedly, they don’t see each other’s places until they get BACK from the trip and they move into their new little places together.”

The poster then questioned why Nicole was with Sam in between the pods and the retreat, and what we missed. “Did every couple go home and then go to Greece?,” she questioned. She’s right! Did we miss crucial parts of their relationships?! I need to know!

The plot then thickens, the TikTok points out that even if we assume it was just Nicole and Sam who met up before the retreat, a moment with Benaiah also doesn’t add up. During the show, Benaiah said he went to see his family in Germany, and was really upset about what happened in the pods, and not getting engaged to Nicole initially.

The TikToker continued: “He had enough time to fly to Germany, and then come back, get engaged to Nicole and then still make it in time for the trip to Greece? It’s a lot of stuff that would have to have happened in that very small in between period before Greece.”

She then questioned if Netflix held off on sending the cast out to Greece, to solve all the Nicole and Benaiah drama, but still made it look to us viewers at home as though it was a smooth transition from pods to the retreat.

To give some clarity, Freddie commented on the TikTok and explained the timeline a little further. “After pods (filmed in Sweden) we had to go back to [the] UK for three days, separated from our partners,” he said. “Then we all went to Greece without Ben and Nic. They joined us in Greece maybe two days after – late arrivals.”

Although that does give a bit of a timeline, it still doesn’t fully explain things. Surely in that between period was when Sam and Nicole were still together, so wouldn’t have been “separated from our partners” as Freddie said the cast were. I’m still CONFUSED.
