After weeks of agonising waiting, the fateful Love Is Blind UK wedding days are finally here! We’ve watched the contestants fall in love, get their hearts broken, and even say “I do”. Some of their wedding speeches were definitely more tear-jerking than others, and there were times when my jaw was actually on the floor. So, here’s a ranked list of the Love Is Blind UK wedding speeches, and which couples had the most beautiful words of love to share in the show’s dramatic finale.

6. Jasmine and Bobby

Of course these two have topped the list for the most adorable wedding speeches. Bobby’s speech actually made me well up, because you could tell how much it meant to Jasmine. I actually died when he said: “People say love takes work, but loving you is the easiest thing I’ve ever done. I fell in love with your soul, and I knew I wanted to make you my wife.” It brought lovely Jasmine to tears, but let’s be real, who WOULDN’T be crying?

What fully sold me with these two was Benaiah’s teary-eyed smile when he first saw Nicole come down the aisle. These two have been through a lot together, with Benaiah firstly not being ready to commit to a marriage, and Nicole originally saying yes to Sam’s proposal. But, after a wild ride, they finally found each other and their soulmate energy SHOWS. Nicole said to Benaiah in her vows: “Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would meet someone who literally spoke to my heart the way that you did.”

4. Sabrina and Steven

Sabrina and Steven’s speeches were just lovely, but they didn’t get the winning spot for the most lovey-dovey because I was half expecting it already. However, Steven telling Sabrina he wanted “to be the hug before you realise you need it” actually sent me. SO sweet, and I’m wishing them all the best – I truly believe they’re still married and thriving a year on.

3. Cat and Freddie

I know Freddie meant well, but after leaving Cat at the altar, the whole speech was tainted for me. “I love you, but no” has got to be one of the worst things he could have said to Cat. I know people online aren’t the biggest fans of Catherine and that Freddie is generally considered a sweetheart, but imagine getting those earrings before the wedding and then your groom doing a total switch up. Hearing her say “He’s not in love with me” and “I never want to walk down the aisle again” was actually so sad. I was NOT impressed with him to be honest.

2. Demi and Ollie

Ick, ick, ick!! Demi actually seemed really sweet in her speech, but Ollie took her no like an absolute sore loser. Him just saying “why?” after she’d already explained was actually painful to watch. And Ollie, don’t act like you were actually going to say I do either, because a marriage between you two was definitely off the cards.

1. Maria and Tom

OMG, I actually think I died watching this. I was so thrown when Tom left Maria at the altar, and then went for a random scenic walk by a nearby river. Out of all the Love Is Blind UK wedding speeches, I genuinely felt like Maria’s came from such a place of love and trust too. Sorry but I also hated his reasoning for saying no: “My concern is if Maria and I had a boy, she’d teach him to pay for most things. If I had a little girl, I wouldn’t want that girl to expect the guy to pay for everything. I’d wanna raise her as a strong, independent woman that contributes herself.” And you think Maria, who has gone through the loss of her father and is SO strong, wouldn’t want to do that?? Maria definitely dodged a bullet there.
