Nicole from Love Is Blind UK hits back amid Sam controversy: ‘We all have red flags’

Nicole from Love Is Blind UK seemed to encourage viewers to choose love instead of hate in a very spiritual post on her Instagram story recently, claiming that “we all have red flags.” In light of her new found spotlight, Nicole used her platform to spread a positive message amid the backlash against fellow show contestant Sam Klein, who has been at the centre of much controversy and scandal this week.

Before the airing of a fairly dramatic first four episodes of Love Is Blind UK, Nicole shared an Instagram story that encouraged viewers to “course correct” and understand that “none of us are perfect.”

In her story, she wrote: “HOWEVER, we have a choice. We can choose to look inward and search inside ourselves and do the necessary emotional work to build self-awareness, strengthen our character, raise our self-esteem and learn new relationship skills.

“I remember back in my early sales days, the mantra was ‘always be closing.’ Today, my revised mantra is ‘always be challenging.’ Challenge yourself to COURSE CORRECT when straying into unhealthy patterns of thought or behaviours.

“We can do what it takes to get out of our OWN way. I kid you not, one of the most attractive things someone is willing to do is look in the mirror.”

Maybe it’s a dig at her fellow Love Is Blind UK contestant and ex-partner Sam, who seemed to be comically unaware of how he came across to viewers instead of the “I’m just a boy who wants to be loved” persona he created.

However, Nicole shared an even heavier story just two days ago, recounting a poem as some Sunday “words of encouragement”. It’s likely she isn’t out for the drama, but instead just wants to make sure viewers are kind to the very human contestants.
