They’re home! All the cute first Instagram posts back from the Love Island 2024 cast
‘I’ve been counting my blessings and now I get to share my life with one of them’
This weekend the cast of Love Island 2024 have been sharing loads of posts on Instagram, as they get used to their new lives back in the real world after the villa. They’ve shared loved up pictures in their new couples, and some cute memories from the show.
It’s now already been a week since Mimii and Josh were crowned our winners, and the other finalists were announced in the Mallorca villa’s dramatic final episode. Since then, the couples have had photo shoots, first interviews and have basically become full-time influencers and reality TV personalities.
So, here’s a rundown of all their first Instagram posts back, following their Love Island 2024 success.
Mimii Ngulube

In quite possibly the most iconic move, winner Mimii’s first post back was a joint post with OK! Magazine, of a beautiful photoshoot and interview with Josh. “Here they are… your Love Island history makers,” the post said. “Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan become the first Black couple to win Love Island and they’ve joined forces with OK! for their first ever photoshoot.”
Josh Oyinsan
Josh went slightly different for his return to Insta, and gave a cute shoutout to the show and his journey with Mimii. “Never in a million years would I of imagined things to turn out the way they have but I am most definitely grateful about it – happy to have made the friendships and had the experiences I’ve had – I went in to the villa with only two requirements of myself and that was to stay true to myself and leave a better person,” he said.
“I do not believe I could’ve done that without the support of everyone – Thank you ❤️ ! Mimii and I are thrilled with each other and are enjoying every moment together we get! Most importantly we are happy to be a part of history and hope to inspire anyone who doubts themselves! You can do anything if you believe 🫶🏾 #Biglove.”
Ciaran Davies
Ciaran also went down the soppy route, expressing his love and thanks to everyone who was backing him and Nicole in the villa. He said: “I don’t even know where to begin! I just want to say thank you to everyone who has shown love and support over the past two months!!
“Coming out of the villa myself and Nicole were very grateful and appreciate all of the people that have been behind us. This has been the greatest experience of my life. I have made the best of friends, and get to continue my journey back home with the Mrs❤️ I will forever be grateful for what Love Island has done for me.”
He shared this alongside a carousel of pictures of him and his fellow Islanders in the villa.
Nicole Samuel
Nicole’s Insta was mega glam before the villa, and she’s kept that vibe going. She opted to post a selfie of herself all glammed up before her first date night with Ciaran after the villa. She tagged the makeup artist she was with, and snook in a cute pic of her and Ciaran, too.
Sean Stone
“Wow… Where do I start?!?,” Sean said, alongside pictures from his time in the villa. “I would just like to thank everyone for their support throughout my journey. This has been an experience I will never forget, so grateful to of met all the amazing people along the way. Friendships and relationships that hopefully last a lifetime, honestly I’m soooooo buzzing and grateful right now!!!!”
He tagged Love Island and his Sweet Delivery business, and added: “I’m looking forward to what the future holds, massive love from the CANDYMAN 🧡.”
Matilda Draper
Matilda also posted a bunch of fun pictures from the villa, thanking God for everything she has achieved. “Glory to God,” she said. “This has been the absolute best experience of my whole life, this all feels like a dream. I’ve met the most amazing, beautiful people inside and out, made relationships that will last a whole lifetime to now coming out to so much love and support!
“Two years ago I had crippling social anxiety which stopped me from enjoying myself in any way – from seeing my friends, working, relationships or any social life. This was a huge challenge for me so this is super full circle moment, pushing myself out of my comfort level to a different level. Thank God.
“I’m so grateful and feel so blessed to all of you showing me so much love and support. I’ll never be able to comprehend. Thank you 4 everythinggggg and to everyone!!!!!!! P.S. so sorryyyyyyyy that you’ve had to put up with my cackle for that longggg. PEACE AND POUT.”
Ayo Odukoya
“I am beyond grateful for the love and support everyone has shown Jess and I,” Ayo said next to a selection of pictures from the villa. “I’ve loved and enjoyed my experience every step of the way and met some amazing people along the way. Made some life long friendships and memories and super excited for what’s to come, I’ve been counting my blessings and now I get to share my life with one of them and that is the beautiful @jessleighanne_ ❤️❤️.”
He also shared a picture of himself and Jess after the show, and added: “Never would’ve thought I’d do something like this so thank you for the unreal experience.”
Jess Spencer
Jess gave us a villa dump for her first post back after the show, and signed it off to say she’s obsessed with us all, a cute nod to her saying she was obsessed with Ayo on the show.
“Villa dumpppp! What a time!! From Casa to finals,” she said. “I just wanted to say thank you to every single person from the bottom of my heart that has taken their time to message, show love and vote!! I never ever expected to come out to this amount of support and love.
“My time in the villa was incredible, something I will never forget and always keep close to my heart – memories and friendships made for a lifetime. Also to Love Island especially and everyone behind it all thank you thank you thank you!!! P.S. obsesseddddd with u all.”
Joey Essex and Jessy Potts
Joey and Jessy were the only couple to do a joint post together, sharing a picture of them stood in what looks like the pool of the holding villa, used for dumped Islanders. They captioned it “exclusive era”.
Grace Jackson
Grace posted a compilation of videos and photos of herself in the villa, next to a message that read: “Can’t believe I’m writing this, it feels like a dream! I’ve had the most amazing time in the villa, from all the ups and downs, to meeting the most incredible people and making memories that’ll last me a lifetime. Love Island you really did that 🩵
“I’m blown away with all the lovely messages I’ve come out to and can’t thank everyone enough for your support and kind words it means the world 🥹 – Gracey Bombasey.”
