For most people, the reality of school is graffiti on the toilet doors and a single working glue stick in every classroom because the lids mysteriously went missing for the rest of them.
But for the BOUJEE people, the rahs in training who actively insist they don’t vote Conservative despite owning three siggie rings with their family crest, forking out £50k a year for private school means they end up learning year nine Geography in a literal CASTLE.
High society mag Tatler has named the six most “architecturally beautiful” private schools in the UK and honestly, I’m wowing at how incredible some of these are.
Topping the list of the most beautiful private schools in the UK is Stowe School in Buckingham. It might set you back £46,70 a year but some of its famous alumni include Richard Branson and Henry Cavill.
So, these are officially the most beautiful private schools in the UK, if you fancy splashing your spare £50k:
6. Westonbirt School
Annual tuition fees:£23,340
Westonbirt School in Gloucestershire has been named the sixth most beautiful private school in the UK and honestly looking at that sunset I get it. With prices going up to £23,340 per year for full-time UK boarders, if you wanna enjoy the vibes it’s gonna set you back a fair bit.
Westinbirt is so vibey in fact it was actually used in filming for Sex Education season four. The school grounds were used to film the fictional Wallace University in the US, where Maeve goes to uni.
5. Fettes College
Annual tuition fees: £44,100

What in the actual castle? I am wowing. Fettes College in Edinburgh will set you back up to £44,100 but at least you’ll be able to pretend you’re at Hogwarts. The school has a lot of famous alumni, including former Prime Minister Tony Blair and also James Bond??
While expanding on James Bond’s back story, Ian Fleming wrote in You Only Live Twice that the agent had attended Fettes College, his dad Andrew Bond’s old school, after having been removed from Eton. Fancy!
4. Winchester College
Annual tuition fees: £51,855
The most expensive of all the schools on the list, Winchester College in Hampshire will set you back £51,855 a year. But, named as the fourth most beautiful private school in the UK, if you have the cash to go there you get to learn the school’s own secret language called “notions” which I’m kind of obsessed with the idea of. The school is set on 350 acres and has many famous alumni including former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
3. Canford School
Annual tuition fees: £47,340
Pretty flowers! Costing up to £47,340 per year, Canford is a co-educational public school in Dorset. Notable alumni include BBC presenter and Strictly winner Ore Oduba and clubs at the school range from bushcraft (basically just learning how to survive in the wild, I had to Google it, too) to code-breaking.
2. Culford School
Annual tuition fees: £40,500
Canford, Culford why are these schools all sounding the same right now? Based in Sussex, Culford School is a co-educational private boarding and day school. Named as the second most beautiful private school by Tatler, Culford’s facilities include a golf course, fishing lake, and formal gardens.
1. Stowe School
Annual tuition fees: £46,701 per year
And finally, officially the most beautiful private school you can go to in the UK is Stowe School in Buckingham. Costing up to £46,701 per year for boarding it’s a good job the school itself is actually stunning. Stowe’s famous alumni include Richard Branson, Henry Cavill, and the actual Christopher Robin AKA the son of Winnie the Pooh writer A.A. Milne.
