Okay, so over the weekend there’s been a lot of drama going down between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion, and a lot that needs to be explained. So much has happened between these two it’s hard to keep up.

Between unhinged Instagram rants to shady tweets, here’s all the beefy drama between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion explained.

Megan released Hiss and shaded Nicki Minaj in the song

The drama started on Friday when Megan Thee Stallion dropped her song Hiss, where she seemed to majorly shade Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty.

One of the lyrics in the song says “These h*es don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law.” Megan’s Law is a federal law in America which requires information about registered sex offenders to be available for the public to view.

Nicki’s husband Kenneth Petty is a registered sex offender and pled guilty to the attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl in 1995. In 2022 he served another three years probation after failing to register as a sex offender in California.

Nicki responded by referencing Tory Lanez, who was sentenced to prison for shooting Megan

Nicki went on Instagram Live to address what Megan said about her and explained the lyrics, and this is where the drama really ramps up. Nicki responded with her own rap about Megan saying: “Bad bitch she like six foot/ I call her big foot/ the b*tch fell off/I said get up on your good foot.”

Fans believe that the rap is a direct dig at Megan after she claimed that Tory Lanez shot her in the foot in 2020.

Megan addressed the drama surrounding Hiss on the radio

Megan called into The Breakfast Club, a radio program, to share details about Hiss. She was asked if the song was about a specific person and Megan replied “A hit dog will holler. Whoever feels it, feel it.”

Nicki went on a huge rant about Megan on Stationhead

Nicki went onto Stationhead to continue to throw some major shade at Megan. She asked Megan: “How many d*cks of abusers have you s*cked knowingly?” In regards to the Hiss lyrics against Nicki’s husband, she said, “Bringing up 30-year-old tea from when a man was 15, being lied on is not the flex you think it is.”

Nicki then attempts to pit Megan and Cardi B against each other

Nicki continued her Stationhead rant, this time trying to pit Megan and Cardi B against each other. She said: “For a person that you’re doing songs with, tell them what you call her. Don’t you call her ‘that dirty Mexican?’ Let me guess, Nicki’s lying right?”

Ben Shapiro says he’s ‘coming’ for Megan with his new song

Yeahhh, so Ben Shapiro has pivoted into the rap game and tweeted that he’s “coming” for Megan’s spot on the charts with his new song called FACTS.

Which then led to Nicki publicly supporting him on Twitter

After days of not so subtle shading, Nicki called out Megan directly. She tweeted: “”You scary ass pussy ass broke ass heaux. Scared of me putting a song out but tryna spar with the mthfkng QUEEN. lied on yo DEAD @theestallion.”

Nicki announced her new single Big Foot one hour later.

Nicki says she has five extra songs and threatens to ’empty the clip’ and post receipts

Nicki continued to tweet about Megan, saying that if she “so much as breathes wrong ima empty da clip.” She claimed to have the receipts and five extra songs ready to go if Megan denied anything Nicki said.

Nicki releases Big Foot

Nicki released Big Foot and spent no time wasting who the song is about, naming Megan in the first verse. She raps: “This little beggin’ whore talkin’ ’bout Megan’s law/For a free beat, you can hit Megan raw. If you a ghost writer, Pardi in Megan jaw/Shots thrown but I still ain’t let Megan score.”

So the feud is very much out in the open at this point.

Megan remains completely unbothered
