Think you’re smart enough? These are the easiest subjects to get into at Oxbridge in 2023
Applying for music at Oxford just for bragging rights really
The Universities of Oxford and Cambridge are notoriously difficult to get into. That’s what makes Oxbridge students so insufferable. Both unis come near the top on literally every single uni ranking ever. But, on average, The University of Cambridge gets around six applicants per place meaning that most people are rejected and head straight on their merry ways to study at Durham.
But for people that do get in, you go through the hell of submitting an early UCAS personal statement, the horror of interviews, and then the stress of the ridiculously high offer on Result’s Day, just to get there and realise you actually might have to sleep on a mattress on the floor because of dodgy concrete in your halls. Peak.
But as for the rest of us, as you sit there comfortably hungover at your bang average Russell Group, did you ever wonder if you’d actually be able to get into Oxbridge? Or if you’re applying to uni and can’t decide what to study but will take anything just to brag to your mates about going to the uni where Harry Potter is filmed. Based on UCAS data, comparing the total number of accepted students to the total number of applicants, these are the subjects with the highest acceptance rates at Oxford and Cambridge.
So here are the easiest subjects to get into at Oxbridge, in case you fancy shooting your shot:
