They Cloned Tyrone is Netflix’s highly anticipated science fiction comedy. The movie stars three of the biggest actors in Hollywood right now that if you don’t know who they are, you better get to know.

The movies follows a group who take on a “nefarious” government conspiracy, which Netflix has described as a “pulpy mystery caper”. So while you wait for your popcorn pops to slow down, here’s a rundown of where you recognise the cast of They Cloned Tyrone from.

Fontaine – John Boyega

John Boyega stars as Fontaine in the They Cloned Tyrone cast. Fontaine is a drug dealer who discovers the government is conducting experiments on people in his neighbourhood.

John Boyega is a British actor who is probably best known for his role as Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. He first rose to fame in 2011 for his role in Attack the Block and he has not stopped acting since.

Over the years, John has appeared in Pacific Rim Uprising, The Circle and Breaking. His more recent project is The Woman King, in which he appeared alongside Viola Davis, Lashana Lynch and Thuso Mbedu.

Slick Charles – Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx is a household name for many, and he stars as Slick Charles, a “cunning pimp always a few steps ahead of the ops.”

Jamie Foxx is an American actor, singer and comedian best known for his roles in the movies Django Unchained, Ray and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. His notoriety doesn’t stop there as he is also a famous musician and has sold over three million records.

Jamie Foxx was hospitalised back in April after experiencing a “medical complication” while working on an upcoming Netflix film called Back In Action. His wife, Corinne, assured fans Jamie was “stable” and he was able to leave the hospital, thanking everyone for their “prayers and support”.

Yo-Yo – Teyonah Parris

Teyonah Parris appears in the They Cloned Tyrone cast as Yo-Yo. Teyonah made her acting debut back in 2010 in The Good Wife and has since risen to fame for her role as Monica Rambeau in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Over the years, Teyonah has appeared in If Beale Street Could Talk, Candyman and Chi-Raq. She is set to appear in the upcoming Marvel film The Marvels, alongside Brie Larson and Iman Vellani.

Scoundrel – Kiefer Sutherland

Scoundrel is a “formidable challenge” for the trio in They Cloned Tyrone, and is played by Kiefer Sutherland. Kiefer Sutherland is a nepo baby, with his father being none other than Donald Sutherland, AKA President Snow.

Kiefer Sutherland rose to fame for his role in the TV series 24 as well as appearing in a series of movies in the 80s including Young Guns, Stand by Me and The Lost Boys. Over the years, Kiefer has appeared in Designated Survivor, Forsaken and has even done voice work in the movies Monsters vs Aliens and Marmaduke.

Issac – J. Alphonse Nicholson

J Alpohones Nicholson appears as Issac in the Netflix movie and has appeared in a string of movies and TV shows prior. Some of his projects include the TV series P-Valley and Tales. He has also appeared in White Men Can’t Jump and Self Made.

Biddy – Tamberla Perry

Tamberla Perry is an American actress best known for her roles in APB, Dare Me and All American: Homecoming. Tamberla stars as Biddy in They Cloned Tyrone. Prior to her role in the Netflix film, Tamberla has also had roles in The Good Fight, Suits and Bosch.
