Brand deals and dating: Everything Kady McDermott has been up to since Love Island 2016

She’s been booked and busy!

Since Love Island season two, Kady McDermott has kept booked and busy. She’s one of the most successful Islanders of all time, launching her own brands and making millions after she was first in the villa aged just 20.

It’s been seven years since Kady was first on Love Island, and she’s definitely done a lot in that time. So, as she becomes a regular face in the famous villa once again, let’s have a check in of everything she’s been up to in between her two show appearances.

After Love Island season two, Kady had multiple brand deals and still works with brands now

Like many Islanders do, Kady went down the influencer root when she left the villa. She was signed by Missy Empire, and has had collections with underwear brand, Nikki Intimates.

However, in 2019, Kady was involved in a scandal which ended in Missy Empire dropping her. In a heated row, Kady called a TOWIE star’s two-year-old daughter “vile” and the fashion brand cut all ties with her as a result. Kady apologised for her actions.

Most recently, Kady launched a podcast with JD Women called “Don’t Judge”, which she co-hosts with 2019 Islander, Joanna Chimonides. Kady is brand ambassador for JD Women. According to an online calculator, Kady could charge up to £2k per Instagram post, and she’s recently worked with brands such as Baylis and Harding, Shein and Gym King.

She’s also had some high-profile relationships since the show

Kady left the season two villa in 2016 in a relationship with Scott Thomas. They were together for around a year, and broke up after a series of rows at home.

Kady has then gone on to date a TOWIE star on and off for three years, before having a brief relationship with footballer Matty Cash in 2022.

Since Love Island in 2016, Kady has launched a number of businesses

After Love Island, Kady launched her own fitness and beauty brands. She currently owns Body Goals By Kady, a fitness and lifestyle app, which contains recipes and fitness planners. She previously launched By Kady, a makeup brand and artistry masterclasses, but it doesn’t look as though they are still running.

In 2022, Kady announced the relaunch of her app, Body Goals By Kady. On Instagram, she said: “Over a year in the making and it’s better then EVER! 2-4 live workouts will be added weekly, you can also make your own circuits with over 50 exercises to choose from plus a whole lifestyle section where I’ll be uploading hundreds of blogs/vlogs and loads of my favourite recipes!

“There will be exclusive content on the app not posted on any of my other socials, tips and tricks, everything you name it! It’ll be a whole little community.”

Kady is also listed on Companies House as owning Kady McDermott LTD, set up for her “television programme production activities” and she became a cast member on TOWIE, which she was later axed from.

As a result of her work in business and as an influencer, Kady is now a millionaire.

She’s been on holiday, a lot
