Catherine is the real estate agent with TWO degrees who’s joining Love Island 2023

Every year, Love Island will cast someone who they back as being the “brains and beauty” Islander – and this year it’s defo Catherine. I mean, she has two degrees.

Catherine Agbaje is Irish, and works as a real estate agent. Basically, everything I learn about her makes me want to be her best friend even more. So, here’s everything you need to know about Catherine, as she heads into the Love Island 2023 villa.

New Islander Catherine is 22, and works as a real estate agent in Dublin. When asked why Love Island, Catherine said: “I feel like this is the perfect opportunity to narrow down what I’m actually looking for and reach my goal to find love. I want to get my feelings out there and put myself out there. I want to love, and to be loved – and with no distractions as well.”

She has TWO degrees

Oh, you thought having one degree was a flex? Well Catherine has two. “I have two degrees, I have my undergrad and my Master’s in psychology and sociology and real estate,” she said.

Catherine said she’ll bring fun to the Love Island 2023 villa

Catherine said she will be “someone to rely on” for her fellow Islanders, bringing “fun” the villa. She also described herself as outgoing and loud. “I’m fun, I’m flirty, I’m just never boring,” she said. “I can chat your ears off!”

She added: “I can be a bit bossy. Some of my friends and family call me bossy. I just like being in control sometimes and navigating situations.” She said her friends and family would also describe her as being fun and having a loving character. “I have so much love to give,” she said. “I’m always smiling, I’m always happy, I’m always laughing. You’ll always see me with a smile on my face.”

What gives Catherine the ick?

Catherine straight up admitted her biggest ick is weird. “It might be a weird ick, but I don’t really like long hair, especially when it gets sweaty,” she said. Gross.

She said she’s single because her past relationships have been “surface level” and nothing more than lust. She admitted she does fall in love quickly, but in order to fall for someone, Catherine said she has to find them funny and they need to smell nice. Fair enough.

Catherine’s fav Love Island moment of all time came last summer and was Davide saying, “You’re a liar! You’re an actress!”
