Married at First Sight Australia wedding venues

These are the incredibly boujie wedding venues in Married At First Sight Australia

The weddings were filmed in 2022

Married at First Sight Australia has begun airing in the UK and viewers are going to have a major change in scenery as 10 brand new wedding venues will be introduced.

This year’s Married at First Sight Australia will see 10 brides and 10 grooms get married in the hopes of finding the person of their dreams. The wedding venues are very different from the UK version, given it’s in Australia, as well as each couple getting married in a new venue each wedding.

Here’s everything you need to know about who gets married where on Married at First Sight Australia.

Where do the couples get married on Married at First Sight Australia?

Melinda and Layton

Melinda and Layton are one of the many, many couples to get married on Married at First Sight Australia 2023 and they tie the knot onboard The Jackson Yacht in Sydney Harbour. The $15 million superyacht was specially designed for Sydney and began operations in May 2022.

On their special day, the yacht was decorated with white floral arrangements and two are said to be the power couple of the series.

Melissa and Josh

Josh and Melissa had their wedding at Swifts, a late Victorian Gothic Revival mansion in Sydney. The $60 million historic landmark opened its doors in 2016 and it is currently owned by Shane Moran of the Moran healthcare family and hiw wife Penelope.

The mansion is set amongst grounds that include a tennis court and garage and manicured gardens. When talking about the mansion, Shane Moran said: “We kept the 1870s layout, which split the home into a male and female side. The male side features lots of wood and there’s a billiard room. The female side is brighter.”

Alyssa and Duncan

Alyssa and Duncan tied the knot at Tides Byron Estate which is in the Byron hinterlands. The estate is a wedding and events venue set on an “expansive 100 acre property” which can seat up to 140 guests.

Caitlin and Shannon

Caitlin and Shannon first met and got married at the Braeside Gin House Creek Estate on the Gold Coast. The venue is “nestled on two acres of beautiful and historic grounds” and can provide anyone’s wishes from a chapel to garden ceremony.

Janelle and Adam

Janelle and Adam said, “I do” at The EarthHouse in the Byron Bay hinterland. The venue is a “purpose built wedding and event space”, with 110 acres of farmland which overlooks mountains and hinterland views.

Sandy and Dan

Sandy and Dan had their wedding at the Miramare Gardens in Terrey Hills, Sydney. The venue was decorated with red and gold, in a nod to Sandy’s Indian heritage.

Claire and Jesse

Claire and Jesse got hitched at Novella On The Park in Abbotsbury, a five star venue that can host up to 800 guests.

Tahnee and Ollie

Tahnee and Ollie had their wedding day at Carriageworks in Sydney, a multi-arts urban cultural precinct. Carriageworks usually hosts fashion shows, according to PopSugar, but it was turne into a wedding venue for Tahnee and Ollie’s special day.

Lyndall and Cameron

Villa Rustica in Byron Bay was home to Lyndall and Cameron’s wedding day on Married at First Sight Australia. Villa Rustica no longer hosts weddings or elopements and is now only available as a photoshoot location.
