The Tab is looking for three highly ambitious and creative people to come and work with us. We are currently recruiting for:

 • Social Editor

 • Creative

 • News Reporter 

This is an exciting time to join The Tab during a period of growth and expansion, as part of our mission to be the most influential youth media brand in the UK. We are looking for talented, driven people with a growth mindset. You must be creative, focused, and have a genuine passion for representing the voices of young people in 2021. You’ll be obsessed with youth culture and care about a wide range of topics, from social injustice to politics to Netflix to TikTok.

You will join an ambitious, supportive and fun editorial team, who are experts at what they do. You will receive full editorial training, access to our Shoreditch workspace (working from home is also fine), a company MacBook, plus plenty of Thursday drinks.

Social Editor

We need a Social Editor with a growth mindset (you’ll be tasked with growing our TikTok and Instagram accounts) who isn’t shy about trying new and innovative ways of reaching millions of young people. You will need a genuine passion for social media, so you can use your knowledge of what’s trending and use it in your content.

Creative

We are looking for a savvy creative who can pitch and write stories for huge household brands as part of our branded content offering. You’ll need to really *get* The Tab tone of voice, plus be excellent with people and be able to make great relationships with our clients. You’ll be producing stories for the likes of NatWest, Bumble, ASOS, VK, Adobe, Love Honey, and the NHS. This role would suit someone with 6 months+ experience working in a similar role.

News Reporter

As a News Reporter, you must have an instinctive understanding of the frustrations of being a young person in the UK right now. You need to be brave and hugely driven towards exposing injustice. You’ll be focussed on publishing original scoops and getting The Tab mentioned all over the media while working towards a views target.
