We only know The Traitors’ Stephen from Laguna Beach, so when was he on One Tree Hill?!

Stephen Colletti keeps being introduced as a Laguna Beach and One Tree Hill star, but not a single person remembers him as an actor. He’s only been recognised as a reality TV star on Laguna Beach now he’s on The Traitors US, so when was he on One Tree Hill?!

In 2007, a year after they stopped airing Laguna Beach, Stephen began appearing on One Tree Hill. He played the character Chase Adams, a high school student who planned to save himself until marriage, and stayed on the show until it ended in 2012.

He was also on The Hills in 2008. Anyway, Stephen wasn’t really on One Tree Hill as a main character until seasons eight and nine, when his character was dating Brooke, and later ended up getting with Mia. In the season finale, Chase becomes a bar owner.

One person wrote: “It’s extra funny because he’s like a 4th or 5th tier character. I’m not sure he was ever more than guest/recurring???” Well, he was a recurring character up until that eighth season upgrade, after spending ages in the Clean Teens group.

His acting career began at the young age of 11, when he was playing roles in local theatres. In his senior year of high school, MTV asked him to appear in a television show that would document his life, as well as his friends lives, in Laguna Beach.

That’s where this whole fame thing began, and Stephen actually later reunited with James Lafferty, who played Nathan Scott, on their show Everyone Is Doing Great, which he also co-created, executive produced, and directed.

Stephen’s girlfriend at the time, Chelsea Kane, even filmed a few episodes on One Tree Hill. They actually met through a blind date in real life, which later led to their characters having some pretty steamy scenes, but they split after the finale in 2012.
