Marciano just fired back at Demi’s assault claims after Mormon Wives
'This is the most difficult situation I have ever faced'
Reality TV never sleeps, and the latest crossover drama is coming straight from the worlds of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and Vanderpump Villa.
Demi Engemann has recently opened up about an uncomfortable experience she says happened during filming, and Marciano Brunette has now clapped back.
But the full picture is a bit messier than a viral soundbite, so let’s break down their history, what’s been said, and how Marciano is trying to set the record straight.
Demi and Marciano’s history

Let’s first rewind to Italy. The Mormon Wives cast visited the Vanderpump Villa crew, and Demi and Marciano were instantly giving flirty, slightly chaotic holiday-romance energy. We all saw some chemistry and the ingredients for typical reality TV romantic drama.
Apparently, there was a lot we didn’t see, though. Layla Taylor told Nick Viall on Viall Files that the two had a “two and a half hour long conversation” that wasn’t shown on Vanderpump Villa.
Then, after filming wrapped, Marciano claimed the two “kissed,” and Demi later said that she’d experienced unwanted touching during that same trip.
Grazia reported: “After Marciano alleged that they had kissed, Demi claimed that it was untrue, going on to claim that there was ‘unwanted touch’ that took place.”
Demi reportedly said: “There was not a kiss on the mouth, but there was two a** grabs.”
Marciano responded to the allegations
Marciano wasted no time responding, and he did not mince words.
He’s denied Demi’s claims completely, saying nothing that happened between them was non-consensual.
Marciano told People: “I want to be absolutely clear: I am taking this matter extremely seriously. This is the most difficult situation I have ever faced, and the allegations against me are not only entirely false but profoundly damaging. I remain committed to addressing this issue fully and transparently…”
Per The Sun’s report, he’s now weighing legal action because he feels his reputation has taken a hit from something he insists didn’t happen.
Marciano told the outlet: “Why I don’t take it lightly is because I do know women that have gone through this before and I know both sides of it where they have been believed and where they aren’t believed and why it’s so serious. It’s so unfortunate… for her to do this is just so demeaning to women, because all women should be believed…”
He also said nothing more than their kiss during a group game took place during the show. But mentioned another kiss post-show.
Mormon Wives’ Demi has reportedly labelled him a “sexual predator,” to which he responded: “I am taking this so seriously because it literally is so damaging to my name and possibly career… she was trying to do all she could to protect her marriage…”
When asked if he was planning on taking legal action against Demi, Marciano said: “It’s one hundred percent being discussed right now. Nothing ever happened between me and Demi that was non-consensual… I never touched her…”
The Vanderpump Villa star has said that Hulu looked into things and, in his words, “cleared” him.
“I can’t say too much, but let’s just say that everything was looked over and I was a thousand percent cleared of it,” Brunette said. “I think everything was looked at from a production standpoint,” he said per Newsweek.
