Timothee Chalamet slated for describing a child-free life as utterly ‘bleak’
He believes that 'procreation is the reason we’re here'
Timothee Chalamet is currently being dragged for his blunt comments about those who have decided to be child-free.
During a recent interview with Vogue, the actor described child-free life as “bleak” and explained that he believes that “‘procreation is the reason we’re here.”
Yeah, it turns out there is more to our existence than just having children.

Whilst Timothee decided not to speak about his relationship with Kylie Jenner during his interview, he did speak in-depth about many of his co-stars starting to have children.
This led him to add that it’s very much something that “could be on the radar” in the future for him.
He then recalled a moment when he and a friend were watching an interview, where the celebrity was then “bragging about not having kids and how much time it afforded them to do other stuff.”

Timothee Chalamet then admitted that the concept of someone being child-free left him feeling completely perplexed.
He explained that after they finished watching the interview, he turned to his friend and said, “like, holy sh*t. Oh my God. Bleak.”
The interviewer added that Timothee did understand that “some people can’t have children or are never in a position to,” but that ultimately he strongly believes that “procreation is the reason we’re here.”
