Nicole breaks silence on remarks to Chrishell on Selling Sunset and still hasn’t apologised
'My words were twisted to fit a narrative'
It didn’t take the new season of Selling Sunset long to really delve into the cast drama, with the bad blood between Nicole Young and and Chrishell reaching an all time high.
During the ironically named friendsgiving dinner on Selling Sunset, Chrishell started talking to Nicole Young about her alleged drug overdose, with Nicole retorting back: “Honey, you’re confusing me with your parents, OK? You seem to be obsessed with drugs.”

She’s since broken her silence on the comments she made towards Chrishell, saying that her words were “twisted to fit a narrative.”
Nicole told Reality Shrine: “My comment to Chrishell in that moment was reactive made under immense pressure after being repeatedly attacked and humiliated.
“It wasn’t my proudest moment, but it came from a place of exhaustion and self protection, not cruelty.
“My intention was to call out the projection and manipulation behind her accusations, not to make light of her loss.
“I would never deliberately mock or minimize such a personal tragedy.
“Unfortunately, that distinction was ignored, and my words were twisted to fit a narrative that painted me as the aggressor instead of the target.”

She continued, explaining that in her opinion being asked to leave the office “speaks volumes about the double standards at play.”
Nicole said: “Being asked to leave the office for defending myself in a moment of emotional overwhelm, while others have faced zero repercussions for the years of defamatory claims and targeted hostility I have received, speaks volumes about the double standards at play.
“It’s clear that certain cast members are not only allowed to say whatever they want without consequence, but are actively rewarded for it.
“That kind of unchecked power enables them to push out anyone they decide doesn’t serve their narrative.”
