Here’s where all the Love Is Blind cast members who quit the show early are now
Some actually got their happily ever after
Reality TV romance experiments tend to make headlines when couples say ‘I do’ or dramatically walk away at the altar.
But there’s another group worth checking in on… those who left the pods early or exited the show before things got crazy.
As the Love Is Blind season nine reunion rolls around, we’re dying to know how they’re all they doing now?, so let’s catch up.
Anna Yuan
Anna stunned both the pods and everyone at home by walking away during filming of season nine of Love Is Blind.
Although she formed a strong connection with fellow contestant Blake Anderson, she became overwhelmed by the emotional intensity and the reality of her situation with her parents waiting for her back home.
She described herself as “a wreck… my eyes were almost swollen shut from crying,” after the decision per Tudum.
Now? While full details of her post-show life remain private, it looks like she is focusing on herself rather than diving straight into another reality TV match. Anna is shutting down “weird” online commenters’ post-show, and seemingly landing some major brand deals!
Blake Anderson
Just a day after Anna’s departure, Blake also bowed out, without informing one of his other connections.
His reason: he realised the condensed timeline of the show meant that if he wasn’t going to propose, he shouldn’t be there.H
He’s since admitted he regrets leaving the way he did (especially ghosting his pod connection Sparkle Megan) but stands by the decision that quitting was “the right thing for me.”
By the looks of Blake’s IG, he’s living his best life, travelling and seeking out all kinds of adventure.
Patrick Suzuki
While Patrick didn’t leave before the engagement phase, his story is worth noting.
He showed up to a pod date and discovered that his match, Anna Yuan, had ghosted.
Though technically not quitting himself, he was on the receiving end of an early exit and was forced to pivot.
These days, it appears Patrick is focusing more on the bromances he made on the Netflix show rather than his dating life.
Anastasia Lubline
Anastasia Lubline also appeared in Love Is Blind season nine, and although she didn’t make headlines for quitting mid-experiment, she exited the pods early and stayed off the final stages.
She was among the initial entrants who did not proceed past the engagement stage.
As for Anastasia’s current status, she appears to be loving life. Not only is she pursuing her nursing career, but she has seemingly found the one, too.
She wrote in a recent IG post: “…Although my time on the show ended at proposals, I’m lucky to have taken this experience to learn and grow, and in turn, the universe brought me to my life partner. To those who are new here, this is Tyler and here is my personal reveal…”
Matthew Duliba
Season six’s Matthew left the show early, after it emerged he had told two different women in the pods virtually identical things.
He skipped the reunion, explained his decision publicly, and has said he works as a senior financial advisor outside the show.
By the look of things, Matthew went full steam ahead with navigating his love life post-show, as his Instagram posts show a stunning-looking wedding day. He appears to be focusing on his private life now rather than restarting a TV moment.
Amber
Amber was one of the women who quit mid-process in season six.
After discovering the duplicate promises that Matthew made to her and another woman, AD Smith, she decided the experiment wasn’t for her.
Since then, she’s kept a lower profile, seemingly moving past the drama and focusing on her real-life goals outside the reality TV spotlight.
By the looks of things, Amber is absolutely thriving after exiting Love Is Blind early, as she stuns on her IG page wearing a wedding dress and spending quality time with her partner!
Aaliyah Cosby
Back in season five, Aaliyah quit the show during the Mexico retreat stage.
Apparently, she left because she became uncomfortable with the dynamics (specifically, issues arising between her, Lydia and Uche), per The Tab.
Her move is notable because she quietly turned away from the series before major episodes aired.
Post-show, she now shares via Instagram that she’s a “wife,” and she’s running her own podcast, PureTalks.
Shaina McKee
Back in season two, Shaina exited during the trip to Mexico, effectively ending things with Kyle Abrams.
Shaina left during the couple’s trip to Cancún. These days, she’s Shaina Hurley. Following the show, she married and had a child.
While she didn’t make it to the altar on the show, she went on to build a life away from the pods, marrying in July 2022, and welcoming a child in 2024.
The experience of walking away mid-experiment appears to have allowed her to reset quicker on her own terms.
