Tyrique from Love Island Games just released a new song and it’s not about who people think
Everyone is convinced it's about his ex
Tyrique from Love Island Games first opened up his heart on the original UK dating show, when he met his now-ex, Ella. They had their share of ups and downs, including the time he told her, “Guess you were never mine, it was just my turn,” and he’s now written a song.
His new rap says: “They say I lied to you, but they say they ain’t lying to me. You are my girl, that means something to me. I want to ball in peace in LA with the promise trees, don’t make this hard for me. It’s hard for me, later. Come back home babe, trust me, I miss you, man.”
Everyone is now speculating that Tyrique wrote the song about Ella, but he’s addressed that the rap is not about his ex. He is, however, is currently going on dates with Justine but confirmed that he “doesn’t want anything serious,” after they met on Love Island Games.

He asked Justine to come stream with him in the booth, but she said no. Another theory that it’s about her is that she’s the only person he called babe, while she called him a manipulator on the show, so it definitely sounds like he may have written a song about her.
At the end of the stream in the recording booth, Tyrique is seen FTing co-star Andrea, who he tells, “I miss you, shawty.” As for his ex Ella, he said that everyone “put too much pressure on it” and that he “started sabotaging because it got a bit much for him.”

Tyrique and Ella split back in February 2024, and he’s been single ever since. He claims they were “arguing all the time” and admits he was “in hindsight, in love,” but reflects that it was his first relationship, while Ella is rumoured to have moved on.
