While appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast, host Alex Cooper asked Kim if she knew how much a carton of milk costs. And Kim’s answer? A very honest, very iconic: “I actually don’t have a concept of what simple things cost.” Girl!
Now, she did say she wants to learn because she knows it’s important. But imagine being so rich for so long that dairy prices are a total mystery to you.
The internet, naturally, had a field day. Some people called her out for being tone-deaf; others just laughed at how peak billionaire bubble the whole thing was.
Kim isn’t the first celeb to lose touch with reality, but this was next level. While we’re checking store-brand vs organic prices, Kim’s out here living in a world where milk is a mythical concept.
Lamborghinis on tap
Now let’s talk about the real-life soap opera that was Kimye. Kim told Call Her Daddy that at one point during her marriage to Kanye, all their Lamborghinis suddenly disappeared. Just poof, gone.
And then, because of course, five new Lamborghinis magically appeared.
According to Kim, this kind of luxury chaos was just a Tuesday in their relationship.
“I was like, are we broke? Is this normal? Is this love? Is this… theft?” Okay, she didn’t say that exactly, but the vibes were there. She said it made her feel “emotionally and financially unsafe,” which, yeah, hard relate, but minus the fleet of supercars.
To be in a relationship where your partner might just casually give away hundreds of thousands of dollars in vehicles on a whim? We can’t relate to it exactly, but we are fascinated.
An eye-watering amount spent on glam
Kim’s recent Call Her Daddy appearance also saw her casually drop the bomb that she spends seven figures a year, yes, seven, on glam.
That’s right, somewhere around a million dollars a year just to stay looking camera-ready.
That’s not even including the couture. And the wildest part? She didn’t even know the exact amount.
“It could be a million,” she shrugged, like she was guessing how many jellybeans are in a jar.
Kim, babe… that’s generational wealth in foundation and blowouts.
To be fair, she did admit she tries to charge it to production when she’s filming. But still. Most of us are budgeting for mascara and hoping for the best, and she’s spending house money on highlighter.
