Kim Kardashian breaks silence on *that* controversial photoshoot she did with Justin Bieber
She was 30 and he was 16 at the time
When Kim Kardashian was 30 years old, and Justin Bieber was just 16, they collaborated for a controversial photoshoot. At the time, people thought they may be dating, even though Kim is literally 14 years his senior, and she’s now addressed the backlash.
She’s actually now claimed the shoot, which was for Elle magazine, “should have got her cancelled” and agrees it was not the best idea back in 2010. Kim has since asked on the Call Her Daddy podcast, “Who thought that was a good idea?”
It wasn’t even host Alex Cooper who brought up the infamous Kardashian and Bieber photoshoot, but Kim herself. Basically, Alex asked Kim, “What is something you probably should have gotten cancelled for but didn’t?” and Kim immediately, “I know what it is.”

She added: “I think I am going to get cancelled if I say it. I don’t know who approved this and I don’t know who thought that this was normal, this narrative, but I did a photo shoot with Justin Bieber and he was 16 years old and I don’t know how old I was.”
Kim clarified that there was nothing untoward about the arrangement and said: “His girlfriend was there, his parents were there, I mean it was like nothing creepy at all. He’s like a good dear friend of ours and the whole family, but like who thought that that was a good idea?”
She continued: “I must have been 30. It was a story of what’s that story with the teacher and the student, the graduate. The graduate. I just feel like nothing ever weird was obviously happening and it was just an odd concept and why none of us thought that was odd.”
“But now we look back and I’m like, ‘That would have not been the most appropriate thing’,” Kim added, explaining the shoot was inspired by the 1967 comedy The Graduate which follows a recent college graduate seduced by an older married woman, Mrs Robinson.
