If there’s one thing to know about Love Is Blind season nine star Megan Walerius, it’s that she’s going to bring the positive vibes. The Netflix star shines so bright she actually introduces herself as ‘Sparkle Megan’ during her time in the pods.
Naturally, people have been curious to know more about Megan’s nickname, but others are just downright confused by it. Some, like her partner on the show, Jordan Keltner, have aired their thoughts on Megan opting for her shiny moniker.
Jordan gives his honest take
Appearing on AD’s What’s The Reality? podcast this October, Jordan finally revealed his true thoughts on Megan’s nickname.
Sparkle Megan has caused a stir for a lot of folks watching the show, and it turns out she also ruffled the feathers of her actual Love Is Blind partner, too, all by just being herself?!
While Sparkle Megan continued living her best life being her authentic self, Jordan weighed in on what he really thought of her name.
Speaking to AD, Jordan said: “Yeah, I did not like that,” in reference to Megan introducing herself as “Sparkle Megan.”
Sparkle Megan rubbed Jordan up the wrong way
Jordan continued to add how he thought the whole thing was “so funny” because he was “so off put” by Megan calling herself “Sparkle Megan.”
He said that they “only had ten minutes” to chat, and Megan bowled in with her intro: “I’m Sparkle Meg, I’m 33…”
“I’m like, yeah, who calls themself that at 33? Just so ignorant to the fact that we’re going to fall so hard in love and the second date we hit it off so strong…”
Then, he admitted, “Sparkle Meg” began working for him, and after meeting her, he said: “It made even more sense.”
AD asked if Jordan ever called Megan “Sparkle Megan,” and he laughed: “That’s top secret… no, just kidding… we did, we had nicknames for each other…”
