Omg, Madison was originally asked to go on a date with James on Love on the Spectrum
She's spilled all the pre-show tea
Madison may be all loved-up with Tyler right now, and it’s all thanks to Love on the Spectrum – but it was actually James she was originally meant to go on a date with. Basically, it was her parents who were initially reached out to for her to appear on the show.
She only just revealed the jaw-dropping revelation on her YouTube channel, admitting that she’d agreed to go on a date with James as a member of the casting crew, Jenny, “thought she’d be a good fit.” Madison then said she had to go through an audition process.
However, she added that the “timing wasn’t right because she was going to be moving to Florida to be closer to her family.” It wasn’t until a year later that the show producers Sean and Cian reached out again, to which she said the “timing was right.”
That’s when we saw Madison make it as a full-time cast member of Love on the Spectrum season three. She said, “I’m very thankful that the show gave me Tyler, and now we’re happily in love and we’re still dating. And as I think about it, I had to find love on the spectrum.”
“People who are neurotypical have an easier time dating than people on the spectrum do because people with autism, they struggle a lot more making a connection with a significant other, but yes, it is possible,” Madison continued on the video.
She also said that Abby and David inspired her to audition for the show, “seeing how they found love,” as well as Jimmy and Sharnae from the Australian version. Madison even said LOTS “opened her eyes up to dating,” as well as autism expert Jennifer Cook.
