Plastic surgeon breaks down the four key tweaks behind Kris Jenner’s dramatic transformation
I can't get over how young she looks
Kris Jenner is no stranger to announcing a new SKIMS drop, showcasing a fresh Good American collection or singing from the rooftops about a dazzling Kylie Cosmetics launch. But, this year, the momager literally outdid herself as she debuted a whole new face?!
Mama Kris has had people talking for months about this facelift. Folks are literally still in total awe each and every time she steps out these days. She recently set off her ageless look with a cropped blond hairdo, and she’s kicked off the transformation conversation all over again.
Now, a plastic surgeon is weighing in on what he thinks Kris opted for – and apparently it comes down to four key things.
Kris has apparently opted for a lower facelift
Anthony Youn, MD, tells his millions of YouTube followers that he “does a lot of facelifts and facial cosmetic surgery,” so he’s well equipped to spill the tea on what Kris Jenner has potentially opted for.
“I believe there are four keys to her amazing new appearance,” he says.
“The first one is not surprisingly, a lower facelift. This is an operation that tightens up the lower face and the neck, improving jowls and the neckline.”
“That really is the only explanation for a change this dramatic. But it does create scars and those scars typically start at the top of the ear… they go in front of the ear, behind the ear and across.”
The plastic surgeon speculates weight loss
The second key to her change in appaearance? Dr Youn believes Kris “lost some weight.”
He continues: “Possibly by being on Ozempic… just a lower facelift is not going to cause the face to look thinner like this, but weight loss combined with a facelift definitely can.”
The third aspect is popular with other celebs
Dr Youn adds how the third potential aspect of Kris’ wild transformation is something that’s mega popular among celebrities lately.
“She’s either not getting any filler, or the filler that’s done is very subtle. The days of the pillow face are over,” he explains.
The plastic surgeon continues: “People have finally realised that a little bit of filler can be a great thing, but a lot of filler makes you look fake.”
“You can see her facial volume looks really good… It’s definitely not overdone,” he analyses.
Timing is everything here
Fourth and finally, Dr Youn thinks that Kris “is in a sweet spot” post-surgery.
“About two to four months after a facelift, where the swelling is still a little bit there, but things are still pretty tight,” is apparently where Kris is at.
The doctor adds: “Over the next six months or so, I would expect some relaxation to occur and for that skin to kind of settle a bit.”
“I bet you six months from now, she’s still going to look great but not quite as tight as this… I also think she’s undergone some other procedures, including an upper and lower blepharoplasty, possibly a brow lift, and a revision rhinoplasty,” he continues.
Adding to the list, Dr Youn continues: “She’s also wearing a lot of makeup and possibly could be using filters on her photos, as well.”
