All these reality stars stopped getting one cosmetic tweak for an absolutely horrifying reason
The aftermath literally sounds awful
Reality TV stars are no strangers to cosmetic tweaks, often turning to subtle nips and tucks to maintain their on-screen glow. But recently, a growing number of familiar faces have hit the brakes on one particular procedure and not because of changing beauty trends.
The reason? A seriously disturbing side effect and some wild horror stories that have left even the most glam-committed celebs swearing off it for good. Here’s why this once-popular tweak is now being abandoned in droves.
Lala Kent
Vanderpump Rules alum Lala Kent shared how she’s come under fire from people before when it comes to her cosmetic tweaks, per Bravo TV.
The reality TV star previously opted for filler in the early days of Pump Rules. But, she later had a change of heart, per ABC.
She reportedly said once she was in her mid-thirties: “I wanna stop with the lips, I wanna stop with the fillers, you know, it’s just enough is enough, I’m starting to look at the comments and compare photos, I’m not about it anymore.”

Blac Chyna also said she changed her mind about surgery she opted for later in her life.
Speaking to ABC’s Impact x Nightline, Blac Chyna reintroduced herself with her real name – Angela White.
She said she began focusing on “sobriety, working out, and the Bible,” after some time in the entertainment industry and “losing herself.”
Blac Chyna opted to reverse years of cosmetic work, including explant surgery, at 34 years old. She said as she “started to slim down,” her “features began to come out,” like her “cheekbones.”
“With all the filler, that really started to protrude out now that my face has become slimmer…” she explained.
Blac Chyna added how the surgery “served its purpose” but wanted to move on with a new chapter in her life.

Kylie Jenner is another celebrity who famous opted for filler and then had it removed.
In 2018, Kylie had her lip filler dissolved, per Marie Claire.
The Kardashians star’s revelation came via an Instagram comment which had a lot of people shook. Kylie became known for her signature lips and lip kits back in 2015.
According to Dr Youn, Kylie’s mom, Kris Jenner, may also have opted to remove her facial fillers. He said in an analysis video: “She’s either not getting any filler or the filler that’s done is very subtle… The days of the pillow face are over…”
Ashley Stobart
UK beauty influencer Ashley Stobart explained on her podcast that she began getting filler at the age of 18.
She said how she wanted “bigger lips, bigger cheeks, the jaw filler, the chin filler, the nose filler.”
Ashley detailed the horror of her facial filler experience and explained how she decided to get them removed.
“But, because she was dissolving almost two decades’ worth of filler, she was left with “sagging skin.”
At 34 she opted for a facelift. Speaking of her filler journey, Ashley explained:
“They found a lot of hyaluronic acid, or remnants of some injectable at some point that I had had. They were pushing it out for hours… I was in surgery for 9.5 hours in total. That wasn’t anticipated because when he opened everything up, it turned out there was still a lot left in there.”
