Kim Kardashian sues her ex for defamation after he claimed she was ‘worse than Diddy’
She and her momager have fired back
Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, have filed a defamation lawsuit against her ex, Ray J, alleging that his recent public statements about them are false and damaging.
The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, centres on claims made by Ray J (William Ray Norwood Jr) during a May documentary and a September livestream, where he suggested that the Kardashian family was under federal investigation for racketeering.
Kim and Kris argue that these statements are baseless and have harmed their reputations.
Ray J made some wild claims about Kim
Ray J claims he is helping the feds build a major RICO case against Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner and says the case is “worse than Diddy’s”

Ray J, whose 2007 sex tape with Kim gained widespread attention, has frequently made public remarks about her and her family.
In the May documentary United States vs. Sean Combs, he stated that “racketeering charges against the Kardashians would be appropriate,” and suggested that such charges might be believable.
He further claimed in a September Twitch livestream that he was working with federal authorities to build a RICO case against them, adding that the situation was “worse than Diddy.”
These comments drew comparisons to the federal charges faced by music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was recently found guilty of two counts related to sex trafficking.
Kim and Kris are now suing Ray J
In response to these allegations, Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner have taken legal action against Ray J.
Represented by attorney Alex Spiro, the mother-daughter duo is seeking both compensatory and punitive damages.
The lawsuit asserts Ray J’s statements were made with “reckless disregard for the truth” and were intended to harm their reputations.
This is the first time Kim and Kris have pursued a defamation case, underscoring the seriousness with which they view the accusations.
The pair’s attorney, Alex Spiro, told Page Six in a statement: “Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian have never brought a defamation claim before, nor have they been distracted by noise, but this false and serious allegation left no choice.”
The Kardashians deny any such investigations or criminal proceedings and regard the allegations as malicious and harmful to their reputations, per a statement provided by their spokesperson via Entertainment Weekly.
