Three members of reality TV family killed in devastating car crash with survivors in comas
Five other family members are in critical condition in hospital
Three members of the reality TV series, Meet the Putmans, have sadly died in a tragic car accident, with the two surviving children currently in critical condition.
The family released a statement regarding the accident over the weekend, explaining that Bill Putman, his wife Barb and their daughter in law Megan had all been killed in a “tragic car accident.”
The five other members of the family, Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah and Gia were also severely injured in the crash and are currently being treated in hospital.
The statement read: “We ask for your continued prayers for Uncle Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah, and Gia as they recover, and for our whole family as we walk through this deep loss. Thank you for every prayer, message and act of love.”
The Putman family posted an update yesterday, saying that Noah, the son of Blake and Megan, is “still sedated, but we are so grateful to see that he is responding to us with movement.”
Gia, who is the daughter of Brandon and his wife Kacie, underwent a craniotomy and as such “her brain pressure has gone down significantly,” which the family described as “encouraging” news.
They added: “This is a powerful reminder that God’s hand is on her, guiding her healing every step of the way.”
Their reality TV show, Meet the Putmans, started in 2017 and followed the 25 family members as they lived under one roof together.
The main cast of the show was Bill Putman and his wife Barb, their four adult kids, Billy, Brandon, Blake and Blair, and their 15 grandchildren.
