Love Island USA star who can’t cook tried to make pasta and ended up burning her extensions
She gave up and got a takeaway in the end
Liv Walker from Love Island USA confessed that she’s learning to cook so she can “be a better wife” in the future. She opened up a cookbook in a new video and tried to cook pasta, but it went so drastically wrong that she ended up having to order takeaway.
She still “can’t believe that happened,” and refers to boiling water as an “simple first step”. It’s the first video in a series of learning to cook on her TikTok page, in which she says: “If you want to be a wife, you have to know how to cook, and I don’t know how to cook.”
Liv said: “How hard can pasta be? So today we are cooking sage brown butter lemon pasta.” She went on to say she “added a bit of salt like they said” and referred to herself as a “genius” for getting the first step right, before adding oil – despite the instructions not telling her to.

Liv then adds four ounces of torn prosciutto into the pan, which she was instructed to cook in a skillet. She said: “Couldn’t tell you what a skillet is. I’m just going to use this (a skillet) and cook it until it’s crispy,” before calling herself Gordon Ramsay for frying it.
And then, Italians may be crying everywhere, because she then snaps the pasta in half because she “used to see her mum do it”. Liv then chopped three garlic cloves, and said: “This is, like, one area I’m really s*** at,” and then suddenly, her hair is literally on fire.
She basically bent over the pan while it was steaming, and before she knew it, the end of her extensions had flames on. She grabbed the end of her hair, which is when she said: “There is no way, guys. I give up cooking. I’m getting Door Dash.”
