Khloe Kardashian breaks silence on Charlie Kirk shooting with a controversial message
I was waiting for the Kardashians to have their say
Khloe Kardashian has broken her silence on Charlie Kirk‘s murder by reposting a strong message. The social media post is thought to highlight how she truly feels about gun violence, which involved the far-right activist being shot during a speech.
She reposted a statement by Dr Raymond Nichols, which claims that the incident “has nothing to do with politics” and is “nothing to do with left or right.” He also wrote, “We don’t have a violence problem. We have a numbness problem. Death became a trend.”
While Khloe hasn’t written anything relating to Kirk’s shooting, people believe her reposting the message shows what her feelings towards the incident are. It also had the strong sentence of, “You were never meant to witness someone’s final breath, then laugh at a TikTok.”
The message continued: “We can’t keep pretending this is okay. We can’t keep watching darkness and calling it ‘just the world we live in.’ You can’t protect life if you no longer feel its value. We’ve made reference look outdated. We’ve made apathy look normal.”
People are applauding Khloe for sharing her thoughts on Kirk’s shooting. One person wrote, “You are a great soul. For being a celebrity and speaking out on what’s happening in the world, I applaud you,” while some interpreted her post as applauding a “white supremacist.”
Another said, “Thank you for the amazing story you posted after what happened to Charlie Kirk. I wish a lot more people were human enough to do that.” Khloe previously liked Kirk’s post about his Christian faith, and dropped three prayer hand emojis in the comments.
“I know you’re getting heat, but Khloe thank you for supporting Charlie. You know what it means to lose your dad, your compassion is seen. ❤️,” commented a follower, but she has stayed silent about his death ever since reposting the doctor’s message on socials.
