Hulk Hogan left $5 million fortune to just one person after his death, but it’s not his daughter
There's 'one sole beneficiary'
Legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, passed away on July 24, 2025. In the wake of his death, new court documents have clarified how his estate, valued at nearly $5 million, will be distributed. Something that may come as a surprise to a lot of folks is that there’s only one person who has been named the sole beneficiary under the terms of the will, and it’s not Hulk’s daughter, Brooke Hogan.
Hulk left his estate to a ‘sole beneficiary’
Court filings from Pinellas County, Florida, show that Nick Hogan, Hulk Hogan’s son, is the sole beneficiary named in the estate documents. He has also filed to be the co-personal representative of the estate, per People via TMZ and Us Weekly.
The outlet wrote: “According to new court documents obtained by US Weekly and TMZ, the late WWE star’s son Nick Hogan is named co-personal representative of Hulk’s estate and will inherit the fortune worth nearly $5 million.”
Another individual, Terry McCoy, is proposed to act as curator of the estate via documents reportedly filed by Nick on September 9. The estate documents note that over the years, versions of Hogan’s will were executed in 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022 and a final version in July 2023. The most recent document is what currently governs Hulk’s wishes.
Brooke Hogan was not included
While Brooke Hogan is Hulk’s daughter, she is not included in the will. According to the reports, that was by her own request. She had asked to be removed from her father’s will some years ago.
In an interview with Bubba the Love Sponge, Brooke said she was worried about the aftermath of her father’s death, including the legal disputes and fighting that might arise among everyone involved. She said she was “sobbing” and requested to no longer “be a part of it.” She explained: “I just said take me off everything…”
The decision has come as a surprise to many fans who still remember the Hogan family as a tight-knit unit during their mid-2000s reality series Hogan Knows Best. On the show, Hulk, Brooke, Nick, and then-wife Linda were portrayed as a fun, often chaotic but close family. Brooke, in particular, shared a strong bond with her dad, who famously supported her attempts at a music career and often played the overprotective father figure.
In later years, however, the family dynamic became more complicated, with divorces, legal troubles, and estrangements making headlines. Brooke’s absence from her father’s will highlights just how much things changed behind the scenes from the picture-perfect family viewers once watched on VH1. Also, although Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, is referenced as a surviving spouse, her share of involvement (beyond being a spouse) was not deeply detailed in the same filings, per People.
