Here’s the real reason Meghan Markle hasn’t returned to the UK with Prince Harry

Prince Harry has officially landed back on British soil, but Meghan Markle is very noticeable not in attendance with him.

He’s officially back in the UK for the 2025 Wellchild Awards, which he’s the patron of, however it’s also rumoured that he’ll be trying to patch things up with King Charles after their alleged fallout.

Whilst it seems fairly certain that Meghan is simply staying in America to be with their two children, one royal expert claims there might be more to the story.

Royal expert Richard Fitzilliams told The Express: “Meghan Markle almost certainly will not come to Britain with Prince Harry next week.

“It has been clear for years that she was only too relieved to leave Britain as life as a senior working royal proved highly stressful and unsatisfactory for her.

“Since she left, the Sussexes have ruthlessly monetised their royal connections and have done enormous harm to the Royal Family.”

Richard claimed that it would be “insane” for Meghan to decide to make the visit to the UK with Harry, especially as he might try to attempt to smooth rumoured tensions over with King Charles.

If Harry and King Charles do see each other in person, it will be the first time the pair will have seen each other since February 2024.

Richard added: “Given the sensitivity over a possible meeting with the King and what that might lead to, it would be nothing short of insane for her (Meghan) to accompany Harry.”
