All the very famous ladies who turned down joining the cast of Real Housewives of London
I can't believe we missed out on a Selling Sunset icon
The Real Housewives of London cast are all truly iconic, but it turns out some other very famous faces were rumoured to be joining the show but ended up declining.
So, from Selling Sunset stars to British icons, let’s have a look at all the ladies who turned down being on Real Housewives of London for various reasons.
Patsy Kensit
Patsy Kensit is an iconic British actress, and in an interview with The Sun, she revealed that she was actually lined up for the cast but decided not to continue with her involvement in the series.
As for why she decided to decline their offer? Patsy revealed: “I did have a meeting with them. I live in my little flat in West Hampstead with my cat. My sons have flown the nest.
“I don’t think my lifestyle would stand up to these women – I wouldn’t fit with them. But I’m a huge fan and I love the show. I think the whole franchise is just phenomenal.”
Elizabeth Day
Elizabeth is a journalist and writer, and revealed during an appearance on Alison Hammond’s Smart TV podcast that she’d also turned down appearing on the show.
She explained: “I did have a conversation about it, but it was very informal, and it would be brilliant, but it would remove my enjoyment of the show as a viewer.”
Elizabeth added that she wasn’t sure if she’d be able to deal with the attention that came with being on Real Housewives of London, saying: “I don’t think I could cope.
“Well, I’ve already said no, but I couldn’t cope because there’s also a lot of online attention that these Housewives get. I don’t know if I’ve got the cojones for it anyway.”
Trinny Woodall
Trinny Woodhall is such an iconic British gal, and honestly her makeup line is actually really good.
According to The Daily Mail, she was rumoured to be considered for the show but filming conflicted with her professional commitments.
Chelsea Lazkani
The Daily Mail also claimed that Selling Sunset star Chelsea Lazkani was also approached by casting directors for a spot on Real Housewives of London but something tells me she might have been a bit busy filming the new season of Selling Sunset…
Still, I would be absolutely obsessed with her appearing on the show, and I’m petitioning for a cameo from her during next season!
The Real Housewives of London is streaming weekly, exclusively on Hayu.
