It turns out the insane fight between Pearl and RuPaul was WAY worse than what was shown
Katya revealed the Werk Room drama was 'more tense, and more awkward' than it appeared
One of the standout moments of season seven of RuPaul’s Drag Race was the unbelievably tense Werk Room fight between RuPaul and Pearl.
In case you need a quick refresher, Pearl told Ru that she’d told her she “had no personality.” RuPaul then proceeded to give Pearl a thousand yard stare in pin dropping silence, before Pearl asked: “Is there something on my face?”

Truly a tense moment of television.
However it turns as we didn’t even see thee half of it, as according to Katya the “insane” moment between RuPaul and Pearl was “more tense, and more awkward” than what we’d seen.
Katya revealed all during her podcast, The Bald and the Beautiful, alongside Trixie Mattel, and gave a juicy first hand account of what happened during the RuPaul’s Drag Race scene.

Trixie also added some personal insight about the moment, revealing: “I know that RuPaul has never encountered a single drag queen willing to talk to her the way [Pearl] talked to her.”
Katya added: “It’s wild. It was more tense and more awkward than it was on television.”
Trixie and Katya shed more light on what happened during the dramatic Werk Room moment, explaining that everyone else in the room was “silent” and could hear exactly what she and Pearl were fighting about.

The pair clarified that during a Werk Room walkthrough with RuPaul, the rest of the room is “silent”, meaning everyone would have got an earful of the clash.
Katya revealed: “This was so f**king uncomfortable, it was so tense, it was insane. RuPaul was so angry. It was like, crazy.”
She continued, saying that Pearl actually completely left the room, and she was gone long enough for it to ” be concerning, enough to be dramatic.”
Katya added: “She was p****d off! People were dogpiling on her. Imagine being told you had no personality. But she does!”
