Iconic series ‘put on hold’ by Netflix, despite being one of the most beloved dating shows
It might not ever return
Some things in life are almost guaranteed, and a steamy and downright trashy Netflix dating show like Too Hot To Handle is certainly one of them.
However, it sadly looks like the streaming platform might be about to pull the plug on Too Hot to Handle after the beloved dating series has reportedly been “put on hold.”

The iconic dating show has been going for five years, with a new season coming out roughly every nine months, but it looks like the most recent season could be its last.
A TV insider claimed to The Sun: “Execs at both terrestrial channels and streamers are increasingly using terms such as ‘on hold’ and ‘resting’ for shows that do not repeat as expected — and many never return.
“And a lot of entertainment shows on Netflix have bitten the dust already this year, ranging from Celebrity Bear Hunt to Cheat: Unfinished Business.”

The source continued: “So, although Too Hot To Handle may return, the signs are not good in the current environment, where competition for viewers is fierce and other dating shows like Netflix’s Love Is Blind are doing very well.”
However, given that the rogue Harry Jowsey got his start in the world of influencing through appearing on Too Hot Too Handle, perhaps it’s not such a bad thing if the show gets put on pause for a while…
