A man called Nick who bathed and drank his own urine for what he claimed to be health reasons has finally revealed where he is, two years on from appearing My Strange Addiction. He appeared on the unusual TLC show alongside his then-girlfriend, Aubrey.
Nick and Aubrey weren’t just urine drinkers but showered and poured the bodily fluid into their eyes, and it wasn’t a pretty sight when Nick’s mom spotted their urine jars. Viewers were seriously concerned for the couple after a doctor warned of its health hazards.
Luckily, we’ve had an update from Nick himself, and he’s no longer in a relationship with Aubrey. Well, it was built on a jar of pee, quite literally, and two years on from drinking 200 gallons of urine a year, Nick has revealed he’s no longer addicted to wee.
He has revealed that he “doesn’t need it anymore but it served its purpose when he did.” Well, that’s a relief, because at one point he was quite literally washing cucumbers with his own urine, and claimed that he felt more quenched than if he drank water!
Nick has built muscle mass, makes over $1 million a year in sales, and is the founder of The People’s Insurance Company, which advises agency owners on how to build their businesses. He’s still into a lot of health and mindset methods, such as breath work and working out.
He believes that nicotine isn’t bad for you, loves sunlight exposure, and advocates for walking barefoot outside, alongside making what he claims to be $20K a week. Nick is no longer following his ex-wife from the show, who doesn’t have any presence on socials.
The former couple would often massage their urine into their hair, as well as using it as eyedrops and mouthwash, claiming that it would clear their sinuses. A doctor warned they are putting stress on their kidneys, and said a parasite could kill Nick from snorting the urine.
