$1K to ‘no expense spared’: How much the Bachelor stars are all spending on their weddings
Turns out brand partnerships can come in really handy
For over 20 years, The Bachelor franchise has been bringing unique love stories to our screens. The contestants’ route to romance may be a little out there, but some couples have landed lasting relationships and ended up tying the knot. From fairytale ‘I dos’ to low-key lovefests, former Bachelor and Bachelorette stars are proving there’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to weddings – or budgets. While some are dropping six figures on dream-day glam, others are keeping it cute and cost-effective, spending as little as $1,000. Here’s how much these Bachelor Nation lovebirds are shelling out for their big days, and what they’re splurging (or saving) on.
Zach and Kaity Shallcross – $1,240
Zach and Kaity surprised everyone with their ultra-budget-friendly courthouse ceremony on May 23, 2025, in Texas.
They skipped the quoted $70K–$80K pricetag, via Bachelor Nation, on a big wedding in favour of a pared-down official ‘I do’. They’ve unveiled plans for a bigger reception with friends and fans later this year.
Kaity shared the breakdown of their costs with the chapel totalling $500, the couple’s dress and suit being free from their sponsor, Costco flowers coming in at $250, and a car for $250.
Hair and makeup came in at $240, and their officiant and bouquet were included via partnership.
Matty J and Laura Byrne – $50,000
These two The Bachelor Australia stars opted for simple elegance in Byron Bay when it came to their big day.
After meeting on the show, Matty and Laura wed in a tasteful 2022 ceremony. Their estimated investment fell around $40,000–$50,000, largely spanning venue, custom dress, and decor. Understated and chic, just their style!
Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska – $70,000
Another Bachelor Australia couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony.
After meeting and falling in love on the show in early 2020, Irena Srbinovska and Locky Gilbert tied the knot in 2023.
Locky and Irena’s coastal wine-country wedding was intimate yet obviously well-appointed. With designer fashion, vineyard setting, and detailed styling, the estimated total was around $70,000 – elegant and Instagram-ready.
It’s giving ‘vineyard vibes with flair’.
Sam and Snezana Wood – $100,000
The Bachelor Australia season three stars Sam and Snezana Wood are another couple who splurged on their big day.
Their wedding checked all the fantasy boxes: couture dress, lavish floral installations, exclusive venue. Insiders peg the cost at at least $100,000, placing them among the most extravagant weddings in Bachelor history.
We’re so here for the Luxe fairytale energy.
Hannah Brown and Adam Woolard – ‘No expense spared’
Topping the list with an elegant destination wedding in France, we introduce former Bachelorette Hannah Brown and Adam Woolard.
Former Bachelorette Hannah married Adam in a breathtaking ceremony at Domaine du Mont Leuze, France. With 101 guests and a stunning coastal backdrop, fans call it a dream wedding, even if official cost details haven’t been disclosed. The ambience resembled a modern European fairytale.
According to Daily Mail, Hannah went all out with her dress: “Brown made a grand entrance in a custom Mira Zwillinger ‘Cheyan’ ballgown – complete with embroidered leaf detailing, Jimmy Choo pumps, and a cathedral-length veil.”
In fact, she actually wore three designer gowns on her special day, per People.
Speaking on Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe before her wedding day, Hannah said the most “stressful part of wedding planning” is how “expensive” they are.
The cost of Hannah’s ring alone comes in at $175,000 per Page Six. Per people discussing the wedding on Reddit, some think Hannah and Adam’s wedding could’ve set them back around $350,000.
