Willam vs Mistress to Ginger Minj backlash: The Drag Race queens beefing after All Stars
It's honestly never-ending
Right, so let’s figure out what’s going on with the RuPaul’s Drag Race world, because there’s people having drama left, right and center after Ginger Minj took home the season 10 All Stars win. Aside from the backlash, the Willam and Mistress beef is actually wild.
Willam and Mistress are having major Drag Race drama
It all started when Mistress uploaded a YouTube video slating Willam, parodying Willam’s Beatdown and calling Willam a “clout chaser begging to be on her channel,” saying that she is essentially a YouTube flop obsessed with talking about Drag Race.
Willam done a response video, slating Mistress’ treatment of Aja on the show, and after Mistress accused Willam of waiting in line for RuPaul at DragCon, who Willam has beef with and then got removed from, Willam says “She’s wrong – I got a picture in the line and left.”
That wasn’t all, because Willam said she “feels people don’t want to work with Mistress” – and explained how she, in comparison, is still getting bookings and being successful 13 years after her first-ever appearance on Drag Race.
Acid Betty is now involved in the intense beef
Acid Betty got involved in the beef between Willam and Mistress, even though she wasn’t involved originally. She wrote on her Instagram Story, “Mistress told the tea on Willam. Everything she said about that clout chaser is true!!! So good!!!”
She also dropped Alaska in it, saying that her “staying silent is liberal gold”. It appears that Willam, Armie Hammer, Alaska and Shangela are all on one side of the fence, while Mistress and Acid are not happy with how Willam is speaking about them.
Willam brought up Acid Betty’s name on the Race Chaser podcast, and some of that drama goes back to the paper dress issue, which is detailed below. And now, Daya has gotten involved, and called out Alaska and Willam for not apologising to Acid Betty.

Acid Betty and Shokra had beef over a paper dress
A designer, called Shokra, spoke out to say that the queen only paid $2K for the dress. The designer said that he had previously worked with Acid, so when she had come to him for the paper doll runaway look, he agreed to make it and even offered her a discount.
Acid wasn’t happy with the original dress, he claimed, as it was close to filming. Shokra promised her that he would make the adjustments she wanted and hand it over at Los Angeles airport, which is usually not allowed, as it would cost extra, and sent Acid invoices.
Acid Betty had made the original payment of $2K, the designer claimed, but then allegedly didn’t pay fully for the dress – as there was $1K remaining – and she had blocked him. She later burned the dress on Instagram, and the designer took that as burning the “evidence.”
Since then, Acid has shown receipts claiming that, “not only did I pay, I got a dress that was delivered last minute unfinished, that I had to finish in the hotel.” She added, “I only had what he gave me and what you saw on the show.”
Ginger Minj is getting loads of shade from queens

Basically, Ginger Minj didn’t land well for lots of viewers and fellow queens, with many saying she only won because of favouritism. Kerri Colby and Manila Luzon gave their take on the win, but luckily, a lot of queens are sticking up for Ginger Minj, too.
Manila Luzon shared an AI meme of Ginger Minj. She’s been called “shady” for posting the outdated image of her fellow queen, with one person saying they “feel sick” over the amount of hate Ginger Minj gets, especially as Manila congratulated her for the crown.
Kerri was seen saying she “hopes she gets added to the winners group chat” after Ginger Minj’s win, while Scarlett Envy admitted that Bosco and Jorgeous “should’ve been top two” when it came to the All Stars season ten finale.
