Molly Mae warns a completely fake AI video is going round of her promoting a perfume
Um, this is actually wild?!
If you’ve seen that video of what appears to be Molly Mae speaking highly of a perfume called Nyla, you may be shocked to learn it’s totally fake. She confirmed the video is actually AI and not even her during her latest YouTube vlog, and I genuinely feel sick.
There’s a few different variations going round, such as one that genuinely looks so real I would’ve believed it myself. She says in one AI video, “Why would I not tell you guys what perfume I wear? I think my favourite one right now is probably the Nyla by Arabiat perfume.”
Another video shows her looking at her perfume collection and saying she left the one she usually wears at Tommy’s, while a voice that seemingly sounds like Molly Mae’s says: “The one I’m currently using every day is Nyla by Arabiat Prestige.”

If that isn’t scary enough, she’s only gone and revealed that someone told her they’d bought the Nyla perfume thanks to her recommendation. Molly explained: “Yesterday, when I was in London, a girl came up to me, and it was her friend’s birthday.”
“They were together, and she was like, ‘Oh, I’ve just bought my best friend the perfume that you love for her birthday, her birthday’s today,’ and was like, ‘Happy birthday,’ but I didn’t know whether to say because I didn’t want to crush your friend’s dreams,” she added.

Molly continued: “I was like, ‘What perfume did you get?’ and she was like, ‘I got that Nyla one from TikTok.’ And I literally was gobsmacked. I was like, ‘Oh, that’s AI.'” Her sister Zoe Rae then said she “thought it was a clip from an old YouTube video”.
However, it’s not what you think, as Molly said it’s not an old clip and that they “do it with loads of different people” and how they “literally put AI over the clip and be like, ‘Oh, this is Molly’s favourite perfume,’ and it’s in my literal voice, but it’s AI.”
