Babymoon to meeting Beyoncés mom: Inside Love Is Blind Lauren and Cameron’s adorable pregnancy
'The cutest and most beautiful pregnancy ever'
This Love Is Blind pregnancy reveal came in true Lauren and Cameron fashion – creative, heartfelt, and full of personality. The couple have had a really tough journey when it comes to starting their family. But, they shared a cinematic trailer-style video on Instagram that included throwback clips from Love Is Blind, moments from Lauren’s IVF journey, and a few humorous nods to “Operation Baby”, and people have literally been buzzing since. The video ended with the message: This fall, a new chapter begins. And we’ve never been more sat.
Lauren and Cameron’s pregnancy announcement
Lauren and Cameron, who met and married on Season 1 of Netflix’s hit dating series, announced in May 2025 that they are expecting their first child via IVF – after a four-year fertility journey filled with hope, heartbreak, and prayer.
“Seeing the word ‘pregnant’… we just looked at each other. I fell to my knees and cried,” Lauren said to People. “It’s been a long time coming.” This joyful news came just months after Lauren lost her father at Christmas in 2024. She called the pregnancy a much-needed “light in the darkness,” describing it as “the spark that my whole family needed.”
The couple have been refreshingly open about their fertility journey, sharing that they conceived through in vitro fertilisation. On their podcast, The Love Seat, they spoke candidly about the emotional and physical toll of the process. Lauren said the experience brought them even closer together, while Cameron called it “a new level of love.” Lauren also addressed the pressure couples face to have children, speaking out against constant questions like “When are you having a baby?” and encouraging people to show more empathy.
Cheesy cravings
Now well into her second trimester, Lauren has opened up about the highs and lows of pregnancy. She’s experiencing typical cravings along with morning fatigue, but says she’s feeling deeply grateful. They’ve also received support from other Love Is Blind castmates, including Amber and Matt Barnett, who recently became parents themselves.
“I want cheese puffs, I want macaroni and cheese. I want just regular shredded cheese in my mouth. Cheese and fruit have been my thing…” Lauren explained to The Bump.
Not stopping at a BabyMoon
Of course, Lauren and Cameron were going to be nothing short of iconic as expectant parents. Not only did Lauren share how she went on a SoloMoon, but she also enjoyed a BabyMoon during her pregnancy.
She wrote in an Instagram post: “This was my SoloMoon before the BabyMoon. I usually take 1 solo trip a year, and this will probably be my last one for A WHILE (it’s cool tho fair trade lol). So glad I did it. Got to reconnect with myself, my baby, meditate, talk to and honor my Dad. It was much needed. Next is our BabyMoon then I’m sitting DOWN!”
Meeting icons already
Apparently, Lauren and Cameron seemed to have some kind of rule about “bump touching” during the pregnancy. But it appears, Tina Knowles is an exception – obviously.
Alongside a snap of the parents-to-be meeting Beyoncé’s mom, Cameron wrote: “I gave Ms. Tina the green light to touch. I know y’all curious.”
For fans who have followed Lauren and Cameron since their first connection in the pods, this pregnancy is more than just a baby announcement – it’s a full-circle moment. From navigating fame to dealing with personal loss and now stepping into parenthood, the couple’s journey has resonated deeply with viewers.
With baby Hamilton due this fall, the couple are getting ready to experience childhood all over again, this time through their child’s eyes.
