Chelley has revealed exactly how the Love Island USA cast all know each other, and it’s wild. From how she knew Ace before they reunited in the villa, to Nic and Jeremiah working together way before the show, she’s spilled the tea on how they’re all secretly linked.
Chelley reveals the Love Island USA boys knew each other
Chelley has revealed in an exit interview with Blavity TV that she knew Amaya before the show, which was a “shocker” to then see her walk in as a bombshell. She said, “Because I’m like, ‘What the f*** are you doing here?’ Adreina was another person I knew.”
She continued, “So it was like, yo, this is actually crazy. Like it was a joke of like, oh, Chelley knows everybody and even the other guys knowing each other too. This is out of our hands. We get the invite and we just show up. There’s a whole process to come onto the island.”
“I know they go through extensive research to dot the ‘i’s and cross their ‘t’s, I know it’s no secret that we [Chelley and Ace] already follow each other on social media,” Chelley added, explaining that she knows production tried to find people who knew each other.
“He may have been in my DMs, we met outside a club, but I never gave him my phone number. As far as to say kids, a relationship before this, and a house, is crazy, but we were definitely friends on Instagram,” Chelley continued.
Nic and Jeremiah used to work together
Ace revealed that he knew Pepe before Love Island USA, adding that Nic and Jeremiah were also aware of each other before the show. Chelley even said that Nic and Jeremiah have worked together in the past, and to be fair, it makes sense as they’re both models.
“These people don’t know us but if you know anything about New York City, you can literally run into anybody. It was very funny to hear all these crazy a** things, but hopefully that clears up any questions that people have,” Chelley said.
