Oooh Love Island USA might’ve just wrapped up, but the tea is still coming in hot when it comes to the season seven cast. Axed Islanders Taylor Williams and Clarke Carraway are literally dishing on their co-stars, and they kinda have a theory that could crush a lot of people’s dreams. We’re literally all buzzing after the season seven result. But Taylor and Clarke might be slamming us all back to reality with their hot take.
Taylor and Clarke’s Love Island USA theory
Taylor and Clarke were eliminated from the show on day 28, and since leaving, they’re coming through with their hot takes.
Appearing on the Chicks in the Office podcast, they were asked about something people kept noticing throughout season seven: “Viewers have joked that this season of Love Island is different because whenever anybody finds love they get assassinated… once the connection is fully formed, they’re like ‘get them out of here, off the Island’…” said one podcast host.
Clarke and Taylor were asked: “Do you guys feel like once people started making strong connections, people were eliminated?!”
Taylor instantly responded: “Definitely. You know, with the Charlie and Hannah situation and then the Hannah and Pepe situation, we were just like, damn.”
Love Island USA couples were ‘dropping like flies’

According to axed Islander Taylor, the couples that formed great connections were “dropping like flies.”
He said: “You meet somebody you vibe with them and then sh** you gone. At this point, you might as well just be friends with everybody.”
“I definitely felt that,” he continued.
Taylor and Clarke had a chat about going “exclusive” just before they were eliminated from the show.
Taylor added: “In the villa, when you get happy, that’s when bad sh** starts happening.”
The two said they were “rooting for everybody to win,” but, erm, if their theory checks out, then it must mean that the lasting couples didn’t really have strong connections?!
