TJ reacted to Iris and Pepe doing the dirty in bed during a livestream, and we slowly watched (and cringed) as his mouth went into a straight line. He was live at the time, when Love Island USA viewers decided to tell him Iris and Pepe got freaky together.
He started to read, “Iris got cracked [got intimate with Pepe],” before he showed an obvious disappointment and said: “At least I f***ing went camping.” TJ is referring to the moment when he and Iris went ‘camping’ and slept together outside.
The same thing happened when Pepe coupled up with Hannah, who was crying over Charlie leaving, and then appeared to get steamy with him in bed. In TJ’s situation, he claims that Iris tried to leave with him, but he “told her to stay,” which her rep denies.
TJ said, “You see a lot on the TV. Obviously there are some things that can’t be produced but I think it’s worth having the conversation.” He also revealed his favourite cast members were Iris, Pepe and Nic when he was there, before hinting that’s changed now he’s left.
He’s since appeared on The Viall Files podcast to reveal that “watching that episode broke his heart” because he “didn’t care about the prize money because she was the prize for me.” TJ also claimed that he was shocked Pepe didn’t stand behind him to keep him in.
