TJ’s mum, who works in skincare, broke her silence on socials as she saw all the Love Island USA hate towards her son online. She said that he’s a “real person with real feelings” who is a “warm, sensitive, fun, positive and loving person.
It wasn’t just his mum on his side, but someone who personally met him. They said, “TJ is a kind and truly nice young man. We had the pleasure of meeting him and spending time with him and his family during Univ. Tampa baseball team events.”

TJ’s mum said he and Iris are the “only real couple in the villa,” and Iris’ social media manager agrees. They said they “feel upset for knowing that was something very real for her,” adding that it “was finally her chance to find love after all the drama she went through.”
