Jasmine gets candid about ’emotional’ pregnancy journey with Love Is Blind’s Bobby
'It's just very isolating'
Jasmine has opened up about her pregnancy with Bobby from Love Is Blind UK. She revealed in a YouTube video that she’s been feeling “really emotional and isolated” during the first trimester, and hasn’t only been struggling physically, but emotionally too.
Jasmine reveals how pregnancy has affected her
Jasmine got really honest about how pregnancy is affecting her, saying that she’s had “lack of motivation” while “questioning everything she does on socials.” She also said she’s felt “super hungry,” adding how she’s “been eating the same servings, sometimes more, as Bobby.”
She said in a YouTube video, “I’ve been feeling quite emotional, been overthinking quite a lot, the hormones are all over the place. I feel like nobody cares and feel quite isolated, like as though no-one cares about me or understands how I feel.”
Despite how heavy it’s felt emotionally, Jasmine said she’s “excited to be bringing their dream baby into the world” and revealed they’ve been “trying for a baby for five to six months”. She also revealed she’s “become really hairy” during her pregnancy!
She regrets sharing their previous hope to conceive
Jasmine has been craving things she’s not allowed, such as sushi, and even craves Botox as she’s been grinding her teeth a lot. Both she and Bobby announced they’re having a baby boy, who was “doing somersaults and kicking quite a lot” during their recent scan.
She previously admitted she regrets sharing that they’re trying for a baby, as people kept speculating as to whether she’d become pregnant. During the Love Is Blind UK season one reunion, Jasmine and Bobby revealed they were planning on starting a family soon.
Jasmine told The Mirror: “I’m not gonna say it hasn’t affected me, it has. I’ve been quite cautious of my pictures on social media just incase someone is like, ‘Oh you kind of look pregnant’ where in reality I’ve just got a normal body, I love to eat, I’m in a very happy relationship.”
