It’s safe to say Love Island USA has got people hooked this year. Season seven even reps a celebrity fanbase with the likes of Kylie Jenner and Justin Bieber admitting they’re obsessed with all the villa antics. The episodes this summer have been wild at times. Controversial Islanders have waltzed over to Fiji only to be sent home, and romances have reached fever pitch all within a week. Stepping aside from all the toxicity for a minute, though, there’s one stand-out star everyone is falling in love with for her super wholesomeness – and that’s Amaya Espinal.

Amaya’s self-love song

First off, Amaya is literally coming through with some serious talent on Love Island USA.

In a bid to settle herself, she randomly came out with a song while in the beauty room, and it’s kind of a bop?!

People have been catching on to her tune all over the internet.

It’s apparently “the song of the summer.”

The lyrics are as follows: “I never said I was perfect. I never said I didn’t have any thoughts. But at least I’m pretty. And at least I’m a little funny. And at least I’m my own best friend.”

Amaya’s song is literally so iconic and wholesome, she’s got full blown singers miming her lyrics.

Lizzo took to TikTok to give the song its moment. She wrote in a caption: “Tell Amaya Papaya we love her.”

Former Love Island USA star Cely Vazquez also covered the song on her TikTok page.

Clearly another Amaya stan, she wrote: “Amaya papaya FOREVER.”

Ok, so we’ve seen enough of Amaya on Love Island USA to know she has a heart of pure gold.

But, rumour has it, she’s actually a real-life angel and she helps out random strangers on the internet?!

A TikTok user called Uglylittlecrab explained how she was looking for a hairstylist online and she saw a girl online with a “sew-in that was exactly what she wanted.”

She asked the girl for the details, and it turned out to be Amaya.

Apparently, Amaya was so kind, and “gave her every single detail,” and “even hit up the stylist herself to help book the appointment.”

The woman captioned her post: “She’s the realest. Most entertaining. Funniest b-roll moments. Calls ppl out. And a girls girl in real life and in the villa.”

Amaya is being so authentic during her time in the Love Island villa it’s no wonder people are literally adoring her.

She’s very quickly worked her way up to the top of our vibe ranking of all the Islanders.

And, it’s not just for hilarious songs, and sweet nature, it turns out Amaya is also hilarious!

Who else peeped her heels when she finished the kissing challenge with Ace and Chelley?!

Amaya is literally doing cartwheels

Amaya hasn’t had the easiest of times on Love Island USA season seven, but she’s literally keeping her positivity up like there’s no tomorrow.

She’s unapologetically herself and in moments of her captured from around the villa, people can see her doing cartwheels, and making up even more songs!

She’s down to earth

Amaya is not just giving, sweet, funny, stunning, and caring vibes, but she’s also staying super grounded during her time in the villa.

In the face of rejection, she stays knowing her worth.

At one point she said to Zak: “I guess I’m not your cup of tea to be drinking so don’t drink it. Sometimes I’m not the book that should be reading and that’s okay.”

People are literally so here for her standing up for herself and beg for her “not to change” on X.

All in all, Love Island USA’s Amaya seems to have people divided over whether she’s “too pure” for the show or literally about to bag $100k winning it.

She’s being dubbed “the people’s princess,” and it’s clear to see whether she wins Love Island USA or not, she’ll surely be going down in the show’s history.
