Zak and Amaya are coupled up on Love Island USA, but there’s a few clues lying around that they knew each other beforehand. It could just be invisible string theory, but perhaps Amaya already knew Zak’s face when she bumped into him in Casa Amor.

So Amaya shared a photo saying she “wants to fall in love in Bangkok,” which is the capital of Thailand, where Zak is from. It could be a coincidence, but he also shared a photo saying he wants to fall in love, but in the Dominican Republic – where Amaya was born.
He also shared a photo of the universe, with the caption, “All this and we still met,” which she reposted. However, their brief romance in the villa appears to be a bit short-lived, because they’ve now argued because she called him “babe”?!
Amaya has since let Zak know that she didn’t feel like he was there for the best intentions, and was struggling to move forward with him. Days earlier, she mentioned that English isn’t her first language so she relies on the nickname, “babe”.
Zak isn’t the first person she may have crossed paths with in the villa, even if just on social media, because she already knew Chelley when she walked in. She told Chelley – who had already met her partner Ace – how they “are good friends outside of this”.
Another thing is that Zak already starred on Big Brother UK, so loads of people recognised him for his reality TV fame, and Amaya could well be included in that group of people. Either way, there’s a lot of really strange clues they manifested meeting each other.
