Right, so we thought Charlie was all guns blazing for Hannah on Love Island USA. But he’s now come out to reveal where he stands with her following that scene of her being rather intimate with Pepe in bed, and it doesn’t look like he feels the same now that he did then…
Charlie reveals where he stands with Hannah
Charlie reflected on his villa romance with Hannah and described it as a “crazy moment” which happened because they “just got along in that moment.” So no, it doesn’t look like any romance is happening between the two of them anytime soon.
He told Boyfriend Material With Harry Jowsey podcast: “Look, it’s all love. At the end of the day, dude, like at the end of the day, everybody that goes in that villa, we all have, for me, this is how I look at it. I have an underlying respect for everybody.”
“At the end of the day, we’re all putting ourselves out there in a vulnerable situation, so yeah, man, like me and Hannah had a great moment. That moment was big, man. Do you know what I mean? And you know, I think she’s just been dumped now,” he added.
Charlie continued: “So I don’t think she’s got her phone back or anything, but I’m sure she’ll think it’s mad when she’s in the outside world as well, but it’s all love, man. I’m outside. I’m just grateful I was on the show and had this crazy time. Yeah, it was mad.”
Hannah gives her own take on their situation
Hannah missed Charlie once he left the villa, and we all saw that meme of her crying over him. She told Vulture, “I missed laughing all the time, but when I look at the bigger picture, I’m like, somebody who laughs all the time might not be the perfect partner for me.”
“You want to find someone who will be there for you…. You need somebody to rely on. Mine and Charlie’s connection was really strong and shown in the villa, but me and Pepe’s connection didn’t really get its justice. We had the strongest connection in the villa,” she added.
