Here’s why Love Island USA is descending into chaos – and the boys might not be to blame
The cast is well and truly crumbling
Anyone who feasted their eyes on Love Island USA’s July 1 episode will have seen that things are descending into total chaos. Season seven has been dramatic from the get-go, but as the weeks go on, almost all of the girls have been sent into meltdown. By the looks of things, the Islanders are seriously struggling to hold it together as dumpings, recouplings, and broken girl code sends them over the edge.
Olandria finally cracks

We really hope everyone was sitting down for Love Island USA season seven’s July 1 episode.
The scenes were a whole mess as the Islanders aired their true thoughts.
Olandria seemingly finally cracked and told the group she’d been “so real” with Taylor.
She said: “I reassured this man every mother****ing day. He ain’t do s**t for me. I cannot express how angry I’ve been, how I’ve been holding it together… I’ve been taking it on the chin every mother****ing day… being dumped left and mother****ing right. Not once did I ever question my worth. What do you need from me?”
After holding in her thoughts for so long, Olandria added: “A girl gets in here and gives you three days of attention, you go? Go ahead, finish reading.”
Amaya bursts into tears
The mind boggles when it comes to the fact that Amaya was left in tears twice during one episode.
Bryan backed her up and told Ace that he had to “meet her halfway.”
Zak then piped up and told Amaya that “he lets her be passionate with him.”
“I let you kiss me, I let you talk to me, sometimes I feel like I have to take a step back…” he added.
Amaya reminded him he “had every opportunity to tell her that before,” but he opted to tell her that “in front of 20 other people.”
She said there and then she didn’t want to continue speaking to him and added: “I don’t care to hear what you have to say any more, stop talking to me.”
In another moment, Amaya told Austin not to “disrespect her.”
He replied: “This was a chance to air stuff out, Amaya. Do you not understand what a chance to air stuff out is?”
Huda says her piece

So after Huda and Chris formed a connection and kissed, she told Olandria about it. And then everything went wrong.
Standing up in front of the rest of the cast, Huda asks: “Do I need to tell the whole class?”
The Islander explained how she told the girls she “trusted,” and shouted: “God forbid she kiss the guy she likes.”
Huda called out Chelley and Ace, and said that they go around kissing other people in the villa.
“Also, Olandria, if I tell you something, it’s between me and you, and that’s it,” added Huda.
Are the boys to blame?

The Love Island USA season seven villa dynamics have been wild from the start.
Lots of people taking to X are convinced the cast is in some parallel universe, as they think the men are under the impression the women should be “chasing” them.
Between “ringleader” Ace, controversially opinionated Austin, and bombshell Zak, the ladies certainly have a lot going on when it comes to the people they have to partner up with.
Some viewers are speculating that it’s the boys who are to blame for the chaos in the villa this year. But, it really could just be the combination of all of the Islanders’ personalities.

Another aspect to consider when it comes to watching the villa fall apart this summer – the cast has been cooped up in there for weeks now.
At this point, they’re probably willing the finale date to get closer and closer.
The show’s July 1 episode was a whole journey.
There are some signs of peace on the horizon, though, with Chelley and Huda seemingly making up.
During the episode, Chelley explained how Huda “aggravated” her, and Huda responded, saying she “hated that she upset her” and was “sorry.”
She asked Chelley for “forgiveness” and said “a challenge doesn’t compare to their friendship.”
