Omg, there’s literally a THIRD Love Island USA star this year with controversial views?!
Yulissa and Austin were already called out
Spoilers: Love Island USA‘s Charlie was just voted off the show, but there were loads of people wanting him out already for his controversial views. His opinions outside the villa are the third to be discovered, after Yulissa and Austin were called out.
Love Island USA’s Charlie slammed for controversial views
Charlie from Love Island USA was wrongly getting slammed for being a Donald Trump supporter, but there is no evidence of him following the president on social media. Some people claim the person managing his account unfollowed Trump after he entered the villa.
He is, however, following Tommy Robinson on Twitter, an activist and journalist known for his far right views. Charlie is also following Eva Vlaardingerbroek, a far-right commentator and lawyer, as well as Nioh Berg, who describes herself as “anti woke”.
Charlie was also slammed for wearing his hair in braids, which was described by some as cultural appropriation. But when it comes to him allegedly supporting Trump, his brother has spoken out to say the speculation simply isn’t true.
One person commented on his brother, Nic’s, TikTok video, “People are saying ur brother follows and supports Trump is this true,” to which he just replied, “No.” Some people also say he has MAGA content on his social media, but there is no evidence of this.
People are also blaming Hannah for Charlie’s exit
As Charlie found a true connection with Hannah, some people are blaming her for letting his time in the villa get cut short. He gave a really heartwarming speech to fight for his place on Love Island USA, but sadly, it was not enough.
Amaya, who is Hannah’s best friend in the villa, sent Charlie home, which people can’t quite understand. She cried buckets after being told she’d have to make the decision, and kept telling Ariana Madix, “We don’t want to do this.”
