Omg, here’s the REAL reason Love Island USA was delayed according to host Ariana Madix
People were left fuming
Ok, so a brand new season of Love Island USA is officially here and that means one thing – it’s officially time to clear that nightly schedule and pop the vino. Hunkering down to feast our eyes on a brand new batch of singletons is really all we know at this point. But, as June 3 came around, and people were sat, seated, and ready for Love Island USA to get going, there was a huge delay with the premiere that left a lot of us confused and many more pretty much fuming.

People have been waiting a seriously long time for Love Island USA, so when it came to the big premiere on Tuesday night, a lot of viewers were understandbly miffed when it didn’t begin at 9 pm.
Episode one was due to get underway, but technology had other plans and people were left waiting for over half an hour for the show to start.
For forty one minutes, people patiently waited for the two-long episode to get going. And, judging by people’s tweets on X, they weren’t happy, and some even said they found the show’s intro “corny.”
Ariana Madix explained the reason for the big delay

As the Love Island USA season seven premiere played hard to get this June, host Ariana Madix came swooping in with some vital information on what the big delay was about.
She took to her Instagram Stories to say the sheer number of people watching “crashed the app.”
The Vanderpump Rules alum added: “Gotta get the IT cuties on the job.”
Thankfully, the technical hitch was eventually sorted. But, it didn’t leave the best impression on people watching.
More X users took to their keyboards to blame the “new” Love Island USA viewers for the app crashing.
Others expressed how irritated they were by the delay, calling out Peacock, adding how they’re really hoping it’s not going to happen again.
