Chrishell Stause is always someone we can rely on to bring the Selling Sunset drama. She’s recently spoken out about her distance from ex-BFF Emma Hernan, so as if that wasn’t enough to go by, Chrishell is now teasing the Netflix show’s upcoming new season.
Chrishell Stause teases Selling Sunset drama
Chrishell Stause has teased what’s to come on Selling Sunset season nine, and it’s giving *drama*. She confirmed that they’ve officially finished filming the season and told US Weekly: “I haven’t seen it yet, so I never know what they’re including.”
Despite being unaware of what edits will go through, she added, “But it got really crazy this season, and I do think that what you will see is that lines are really drawn. Once you see it, you’ll understand. It’s a very entertaining season.”
Even Chrishell’s wife, G Flip, admits the season is “emotionally taxing” for Chrishell, while it’s entertaining for viewers. They said, “I’m proud of Chrishell, how she navigates her work life and has gotten through so many seasons. It’s like the Wild Wild West!”
G Flip continued: “How she handles all that toxic behaviour and still comes home with a smile on her face. If your relationship is super strong and you have really good communication, you can really bear any storm.”
They had to pause filming in January 2025
Jason Oppenheim, Chrishell’s boss, revealed that Selling Sunset had to pause filming in January due to the Los Angeles fires. He told Business Insider: “I don’t know if or how we’ll address it on camera,” he said, adding The Oppenheim Group focused on helping victims.
The likes of Nicole Young, who feuded with Emma Hernan and Chrishell Stause, will be returning for the season nine cast. Emma confirmed her return to the show and told People in December 2024 that she’s eager to get her “truth out” about *those* rumours.
“Last season, I didn’t really have a voice and lies were told,” Emma claimed. “Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to tell the truth and even address everything. For me, I’m really excited this season to just explain that to everybody and tell everyone what’s going on.”
